1. Safety Precautions

This scooter is for recreational use only. New users should familiarize themselves with the rules of scooter use. The manufacturer is not responsible for damage or injury due to lack of riding skills or failure to follow the operating instructions.

Following the instructions and warnings does not eliminate all risks associated with riding a scooter. There is a risk of losing steering control, collision, or falling. Observe local laws and road riding rules. Unlike other vehicles, the scooter has a longer braking distance at high speeds. Braking on a slippery surface can lead to skidding or falling.

Be careful when riding the scooter. Maintain a safe distance from pedestrians and vehicles. Be alert and ride slowly when entering unfamiliar areas or complex terrain. It is recommended to wear reflective clothing when riding at night. Be attentive and ride slowly.

Wear a helmet and other protective gear while riding this scooter, such as hand/wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads.

Respect pedestrian right-of-way. Keep to the left when riding in the same direction as pedestrians. Keep to the right when riding in the opposite direction of pedestrians. Ride slowly, avoiding collisions with pedestrians. In other circumstances, follow local laws and regulations.

Ride in the bicycle lane.

The rules indicated in the manual for drivers should be used in places where there are no specific laws and regulations for scooters. FORTE is not responsible for loss of property, accidents, injuries, death, or legal disputes arising from the execution of this instruction.

When lending the scooter, please familiarize the new user with the manual. In this case, the responsibility for safety transfers to the new user. Help beginners learn to use this scooter until they master the basic functions. Ensure that beginners wear a helmet and other protective gear when learning and using the scooter.

Before using the scooter, check all fasteners and components to ensure they are in normal condition. Check the front and rear lights and the braking system. If there are any abnormal sounds or other problems, stop immediately and contact the nearest authorized service center.

Do not ride in adverse weather conditions such as storms, heavy fog, or snow.

The scooter is designed for one person only. When using, it is recommended to wear closed-toe shoes. Riding barefoot is prohibited. The maximum weight of a person should not exceed 100 kg, and the maximum height should not exceed 200 cm.

Do not charge the scooter when the charger or socket is wet. Also, familiarize yourself with the scooter charging rules in this manual.

Use only the FORTE charger that comes with the kit. Do not use other brands of chargers.

Use only original FORTE spare parts. Do not attempt to repair your scooter yourself. Any unprofessional intervention in the technical part of the scooter can lead to serious damage and may void the warranty service.

Leave the scooter on a flat surface to prevent it from tipping over.

12. Technical Maintenance and Repair

Cleaning and Storage

Wipe the scooter with a soft damp cloth. Remove sticky dirt with a toothbrush and toothpaste, then clean with a soft damp cloth.

WARNING: Do not clean your scooter with alcohol, gasoline, acetone, or other corrosive/volatile solvents that can damage the appearance and internal structure of your scooter. Do not wash your scooter with strong detergents.

WARNING: Before cleaning, turn off the power, remove the charging cable, and close the rubber cover of the charging port to prevent damage to electronic components.

Place your scooter in a shaded and dry place. Do not leave the scooter outdoors for extended periods. Direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (low and high) can accelerate the deterioration of plastic parts and affect battery performance.

Wheels

New wheels are installed only by the service department. Wheel disassembly is a complex process. Incorrect assembly may lead to unstable operation or scooter failure:

During the warranty period, contact the service personnel. You can request a list of authorized service centers in your place of purchase.

For any questions and suggestions, please contact the customer service center.

Battery Maintenance

During periods when the device is not in use, the battery should be stored in a warm place and charged at least once a month! If the battery installed in the scooter is faulty, it should be charged once a month. If the battery malfunction is caused by prolonged lack of charge, the customer is responsible for the damage.

DO NOT remove the battery. For any questions, contact customer service.

Store your scooter at temperatures of -20-40 °C. Charge your scooter at temperatures of 0-45 °C.

Check the battery charge level before each ride. Insufficient power will affect your ride.

Charge your scooter when the charge level is below 20% to avoid battery discharge.

DO NOT dispose of the battery. Follow local laws and regulations for battery recycling or disposal.

ATTENTION: Typically, a fully charged battery will last 120-180 days in standby mode. When riding with a low battery charge, it will last 30-60 days. Remember to charge the battery after each ride.

Battery discharge can lead to damage. Electronic devices in the battery record the discharge and charge conditions; damage caused by overcharging or undercharging is not covered by the warranty.

WARNING: DO NOT touch the battery contacts. Keep the battery contacts away from metal objects to avoid short circuits. Pay attention to the risk of fire and electric shock. The battery contains no user-serviceable parts. If the battery is damaged, DO NOT charge or use it.

WARNING: DO NOT ride the scooter if the ambient temperature exceeds its operating temperature, as low/high temperatures can compromise its maximum power/torque and may cause falls, leading to injury or property loss.

Other

The charging cable is not replaceable. If the cables are damaged, the charger must be discarded and replaced.

In case of error or malfunction, within the warranty period, contact authorized service.

We have tried to make this user manual concise. If any operation remains unclear, it is recommended to contact an authorized or specialized customer service center.
