TOA DP-K1 CU Digital Audio Processor

The TOA DP-K1 CU is a 3U rack-mountable Digital Audio Processor designed to enhance sound clarity through its Automatic Resonance Control (ARC) function. This feature automatically generates an optimal filter curve by measuring the acoustic characteristics of a space.

The processor offers flexible input and output configurations, ranging from 2-IN/4-OUT to 8-IN/8-OUT, achievable through optional modules. Configuration and settings are managed via a PC using dedicated software. Settings can be stored internally, allowing recall without a connected PC.

A&E Specifications

The DP-K1 CU is a modular digital signal processor featuring an anti-response function for up to 8 audio inputs and 8 outputs. It enhances sound clarity and intelligibility by automatically measuring and adjusting for room acoustics across up to 8 zones. Each signal path offers 18 filters, with 12 configurable from various types including parametric EQ, high/low/all-pass filters, notch filters, shelving filters, and CD Horn equalization. Additional DSP functions per path include mixing matrix, level controls, gain, phase reversal, squelch, delay up to 682 ms, compressors, and multi-way crossovers with run-time correction. The device stores 8 configuration presets accessible locally or via remote control. Password-protected access lock is available for the software. All inputs and outputs are equipped with LED signal indicators. The unit has 6 slots for input/output modules and a socket for remote control modules, supporting various analog and digital input/output options, including AES/EBU and SPDIF (24-bit). Control software for Windows® is included, enabling online and offline configuration via Ethernet in real-time, with simple firmware updates.
