HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 Quick Start Guide

Pairing

To enter pairing mode, open the charging case and press and hold the button for 2 seconds until the indicator flashes white. The earphones will automatically enter pairing mode when powered on for the first time.

For a factory reset, open the charging case, press and hold the button for 10 seconds until the indicator flashes red. The earphones will then re-enter pairing mode.

Shortcut Controls

Control your HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 with intuitive gestures:

Adjust Volume: Swipe up or down on an earbud.
Music Playback: Tap twice on an earbud to play or pause music.
Call Management: Tap twice on an earbud to answer or end a call. Press and hold an earbud to reject an incoming call.
Noise Cancellation: Press and hold an earbud to enable or disable noise cancellation.

Charging

Charging the Earphones

Place the earphones into the charging case and close the case. They will begin charging automatically.

Charging the Charging Case

Connect the charging case to a USB-C cable. Alternatively, place the case on a compatible wireless charger, ensuring the indicator side faces upwards.

Note: Wireless charging is supported only by the wireless charging edition. For wireless charging, align the center of the case's charging coil (marked by the HUAWEI logo) with the center of the wireless charger.
