HUAWEI FreeBuds 4 Quick Start Guide

Pairing

To enter pairing mode:

Open the charging case.
Press and hold the button on the case for 2 seconds until the indicator light flashes white (?⚪️).

The earphones will automatically enter Pairing mode when powered on for the first time.

Shortcut Controls

Adjust volume: Swipe up or down. [Swipe gesture] ↔️
Play/Pause music: Tap twice. [Double tap] ??
Answer a call/End a call: Tap twice. [Double tap] ??
Reject an incoming call: Press and hold. [Press and hold] ✊
Enable/Disable noise canceling: Press and hold. [Press and hold] ✊

App Installation

Scan the QR code to download and install the HUAWEI AI Life app. This app allows you to try more features and customize your earphone settings.

Charging

Charging the Earphones

Place the earphones in the charging case and close the case. They will start charging automatically.

Factory Reset

To reset the earphones to factory settings:

Open the charging case.
Press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the indicator light flashes red (??).

The earphones will then enter Pairing mode again.
