The FX series is a unique and versatile speaker system. The FX1.18 bass cabinet, when combined with the FX3.15 3-way active speaker cabinet, forms a modular system adaptable for applications requiring powerful sound with high clarity. The enclosures feature durable, scratch-resistant DuraCoat™ textured paintwork and eight integrated carry handles for easy transport. An integrated metal rigging frame facilitates secure rigging of multiple cabinets.
The FX1.18 is a high-output, horn-loaded single 18" bass cabinet designed as part of the FX series. It features an 18" woofer with an RMS power handling of 800 Watt (1600 Watt peak). Its sensitivity is 102 dB, and the maximum sound pressure level is 131 dB. The flat frequency response from 37 Hz to 130 Hz provides tight, defined low-frequency reinforcement. Connections are made via two 4-pin Speakon connectors, allowing linkthrough for multiple identical speakers.
