Inserting Cards and Turning On
- Insert the SIM tool into the hole next to the SIM and microSD card tray to eject the tray. Ensure you use the correct size SIM card and do not cut it.
- Insert your SIM card(s) with the gold contacts facing down, then gently push the tray back into the slot. You can also add a microSD card (optional, sold separately) for extra storage.
- Press and hold the power button to turn on the phone, then follow the on-screen instructions to get started. To turn off your phone, press and hold the power and volume up buttons simultaneously.

- Water Repellent: Your phone is not waterproof. For more information about your phone's water-repellent design and care, swipe up and tap Settings > Help.
- Charging and Battery Safety: The battery in your phone can be removed by qualified personnel following Motorola-approved repair and service manuals. Always follow the provided instructions to prevent burns and injuries. If your phone stops responding, press and hold the power button until the screen goes dark and the phone restarts.
- Fast Charging: The phone supports USB PD fast charging. The power supplied by the charger must be between a minimum of 5 watts and a maximum of 18 watts to achieve the maximum charging speed. Use a Motorola 18W or higher USB-C PD charger and a compatible PD cable for the fastest charging. Using other chargers is not recommended as it may degrade charging performance. Chargers that do not comply with applicable national standards may be unsafe and pose a risk of death or injury, and may cause slow charging or product damage. Do not charge the phone at temperatures below -20 °C (-4 °F) or above 45 °C (113 °F).
- High Volume Warning: To avoid hearing damage, avoid listening at high volumes for extended periods. When headphone volume reaches the high volume threshold, a warning appears. Tap OK to dismiss, or wait one to five seconds, then press the volume up button to dismiss the notification and allow volume adjustment.
