Indicator Light Status

Internet Configuration
Step 1: Connect
Power on the router and connect its network ports to the wall socket or the LAN port of the optical modem/broadband modem. If the modem is not provided, connect the incoming network cable directly to any network port on the back of the router.

Step 2: Set up Internet Access

Step 3: Enter Broadband Credentials
Enter the account and password provided by your broadband operator and click "Next". This step might be skipped depending on your internet connection method.
Note: If you forget your broadband account password, contact your broadband operator. Common customer service numbers include: Telecommunication (1000), Broadband Connection (96007), China Unicom (10010), Great Wall Broadband (95079), Mobile Broadband (10086).
Step 4: Set Up Wi-Fi and Management Password
Set up a new Wi-Fi name and password. You can also use the Wi-Fi password as the router management password.

Xiaomi Mesh Network Setup
To achieve better network coverage in larger spaces, you can purchase multiple routers that support the Xiaomi Mesh function. Follow these steps to set up a Mesh network.

Operation Process (using Xiaomi Whole-House Router BE3600 Pro as main router)
Method 1: Network setup via Mi Home APP
- Open the Mi Home APP.
- Navigate to the "Mesh Network Device" page of the main router.
- Click "Add Node".
- Follow the prompts to complete the network setup.
Method 2: Mesh key group networking
Place the sub-router near the main router and connect it to the power supply.
Note: Ensure the distance between the main and sub-routers is more than one meter to avoid interference.
- After the secondary router is powered on, the main router will automatically detect it, and its indicator light will start to breathe in blue.
- Note: If the sub-router has been configured, press and hold the RESET button ⚙️ for 5 seconds to restore it to factory settings.
- Briefly press the MESH button ⚙️ on the main router. The main router's indicator light will start flashing blue.
- Wait for the sub-router's indicator light (or the Internet indicator light for dual-light products) to turn white or remain constantly blue, indicating successful network setup.
Method 3: Wired Network Setup
Place the sub-router in the area requiring Wi-Fi coverage and turn on its power.
- Connect the WAN port of the sub-router (or any port if no WAN port exists) to the LAN port of the main router (or any port if no LAN port exists). The main router's indicator light will start flashing blue, initiating the networking process.
- Note: If the sub-router has been configured, press and hold the RESET button ⚙️ for 5 seconds to restore it to factory settings.
- Wait until the sub-router's indicator light (or the Internet indicator light for dual-light products) turns white or remains constantly blue, indicating successful networking.
