1. Product Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the ThinkRider A1 Bike Trainer. Please read the instructions carefully before use.

2. Product Composition
The ThinkRider A1 Bike Trainer package includes:
- A1 smart trainer * 1
- Quick release lever * 1
- Quick release converter * 1 (Compatible with 130/135mm Q.R.)
Note:
- Products and accessories may vary due to different batches. Please refer to the actual products.
- Please keep the original box and foam for future transportation and storage.
3. Trainer Installation
Follow these steps for trainer installation:
- Place the trainer on a level surface and install the two horizontal feet.
- Note that the length of the two feet is not the same; the left and right directions cannot be installed in the opposite direction. Refer to the top view diagram.
- The cycling trainer has a freehub that supports standard Shimano and SRAM 8-11 speed cassettes.
- Install your bike onto the trainer, similar to installing a rear wheel on a bicycle.
- The installation method for Q.R./Thru Axle converters is illustrated in the diagrams.
- Ensure your bike is securely LOCKED to the trainer to prevent it from coming loose and causing harm.
Top View Diagram Description: The diagram shows two configurations for attaching the bike's rear axle. The left side shows a 'Quick release' mechanism suitable for 130mm and 135mm spacing, with a note to 'Rotate 180°'. The right side shows a 'Thru axle (Optional)' mechanism suitable for 142mm and 148mm spacing, also with a 'Rotate 180°' instruction.
Important Reminder: Make sure your bike is LOCKED.
5. Special Reminders
- The ThinkRider A1 is a direct-drive trainer functioning as a pure power meter. When using cycling software (e.g., Zwift, Powerfun App), select the 'power meter' or 'power equipment' connection option on the device connection page. Do not choose 'Smart trainer' options.
- The A1 trainer does not require calibration.
- Trainer A1 Firmware Upgrade Tool:

- For Android: Download the app from Google Play: Thinkrider tools
- If the belt slips, it should be tightened according to the provided videos. (The belt is a consumable item; replacement once a year is recommended.)
- Pay attention when installing the horizontal bracket, as there are differences between the front, back, left, and right sides.
4. Caveats and Safety Precautions
- Keep children and pets away from the bike trainer.
- Use the trainer on stable ground.
- Consult your doctor before starting or modifying any exercise program.
- Do not touch the moving parts of the trainer with your hands or objects.
- The flywheel can generate high temperatures after prolonged use; do not touch it.
- Do not touch the flywheel or disassemble the bicycle while the flywheel is still rotating.
- Be careful when standing on the trainer.
- Keep the trainer away from fire, water, and other obstacles.
- Individuals with heart or brain diseases, or those otherwise unsuitable for high-intensity exercise, are strictly prohibited from using the trainer.
- Users who are not responsible for their own actions should not use the trainer.
6. Warranty
a) Warranty Coverage: The product is guaranteed for one year. If the product fails during the warranty period due to original device quality issues or assembly process, ThinkRider will provide free maintenance and spare parts replacement.
b) Repair Shipping: If the product needs to be sent back for repair, the freight shall be borne by the customer. Please use the original packing materials for shipping.
c) Non-Warranty Conditions: Product damage or malfunction caused by the following reasons is not covered by the warranty:
- Damage caused by use or installation not in accordance with the instructions.
- Product damage caused by human factors or accidents.
- Unauthorized disassembly of the product without confirming with the company or dealer.
- Equipment failure caused by water ingress.
- Aging and scratches caused by normal use.
Note: After the warranty period expires, the company will still provide maintenance services, but corresponding maintenance costs will be charged.
