Assembly and Preparation
Follow these steps to assemble the juicer:
- Place the juicer base on a stable surface.
- Attach the juicer jug to the spout.
- Assemble the various juicer components including the sieve, lid, and pulp container according to the diagrams.
- Ensure all parts are securely in place before operation.
Cleaning Before First Use:
The juicer parts are generally washable. Check the specific cleaning instructions for each component. Some parts may be suitable for dishwasher use (indicated by a dishwasher symbol ✔️), while others require hand washing (indicated by a hand wash symbol ✔️). Avoid immersing the motor unit in water (indicated by a cross symbol ❌).
Operating the Juicer
To Juice:
- Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
- Turn the control knob to the desired setting (0 for off, 1 for low speed, 2 for high speed).
- Place fruits or vegetables into the feeding tube.
- Gently push the ingredients down with the pusher.
- The juice will be collected in the jug, and the pulp in the integrated container.
Pre-clean Function:
To use the pre-clean function, add 400-700ml of water to the juicer and turn the knob to speed setting 1. This helps to rinse the sieve and prevent pulp from drying.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After Each Use:
- Turn the control knob to '0' and unplug the appliance.
- Disassemble the juicer components.
- Rinse all parts thoroughly under running water.
- For stubborn residue, use a brush to clean the sieve.
- Some parts are dishwasher safe (refer to cleaning symbols).
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
Drip Stop:
The drip stop feature prevents juice from dripping after juicing. Ensure it is properly engaged.
Troubleshooting
If the juicer does not operate, check the power connection and ensure all parts are correctly assembled.
