This guide provides essential information for the installation of ACI series cassette air conditioners. Please read all instructions carefully before proceeding.
Safety Precautions
UV-C Lamp Safety (If Applicable): This appliance may contain a UV-C lamp. Always read the maintenance instructions before opening the appliance.
- Do not operate UV-C lamps outside the appliance.
- Do not operate obviously damaged appliances.
- Unintended use or damage to the housing can expose users to dangerous UV-C radiation, which can harm eyes and skin.
- It is recommended to disconnect power before opening doors or access panels with the ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION hazard symbol for user maintenance.
- UV-C lamps cannot be cleaned, repaired, or replaced by the user.
- UV-C BARRIERS with the ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION hazard symbol should not be removed.

Installation Overview

Mounting Dimensions and Clearances
Ensure adequate space around the indoor unit for proper ventilation and maintenance. Recommended clearances are as follows:
- Clearance from ceiling to unit: Minimum 59.1 inches (150cm), 78.7 inches (200cm) recommended.
- Horizontal clearance: Minimum 59.1 inches (150cm) on sides, 78.7 inches (200cm) recommended.
- Vertical clearance: Minimum 157.5 inches (400cm) above the unit.
- Clearance from ground: Minimum 90.6 inches (230cm).

Refrigerant Piping and Drain Hose
Ensure minimum clearances for refrigerant piping (e.g., >39in/1000mm) and drain hose connections.
Electrical Connections and Tightening Torques
Proper electrical connections and torque specifications are crucial for safe operation.

- 32-39 N.m (320-390 kgf.cm)
- 49-59 N.m (490-590 kgf.cm)
- 57-71 N.m (570-710 kgf.cm)

Panel Installation
Follow these steps for installing the front panel:
- Remove the front grille: Push both tabs towards the middle simultaneously to unlock the grille hook. Hold the grille at a 45° angle, lift slightly, and detach it from the main body.
- Attach the panel hook: The panel hook is pre-hung to the indoor unit flow guide ring.
- Install the panel: Secure the panel using four M5 screws.
