Installation
Before You Start: Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Consult a qualified technician for installation instructions. Avoid installing the unit in locations subject to high temperatures (direct sunlight) or excessive dust, dirt, or vibration.

Wiring Diagram - Inputs/Outputs

Fuse Information: If a fuse is blown, replace it with the same type and amperage (15A ATC mini style fuse). Using an incorrect fuse can cause damage.

Main Menu
From the Main Menu, touch the desired icon to access the corresponding mode: AM/FM, Bluetooth Phone, Bluetooth Audio, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, USB, Camera, AV in, Device, or Settings.

USB Operation
From the main menu, touch the USB icon. The screen displays playback controls and track information.

Bluetooth Operation
Pairing a New Device: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone. The unit broadcasts a pairing signal. Refer to your device's manual for pairing instructions. The unit's name is "XDCPA73W".
Connecting: The unit can automatically connect to the last connected device if the feature is set to "Auto Connect On". If set to "Auto Connect Off", manual connection is required.
Phone Operations:
- Access the Bluetooth menu by touching the Bluetooth icon.
- Dial a number using the keypad.
- Press [phone icon] to connect or end a call.
- Press [transfer icon] to transfer audio between the head unit and mobile phone.
Streaming Audio: Use the playback controls (play/pause, next, previous) to manage audio playback.

Audio Operation
Access the Settings menu from the Main Menu to adjust Fader and Balance Controls, and use the Equalizer (8-Band Tone Control and 8 Presets EQ Settings).

Tuner Operation
Access AM/FM stations. Use controls for seeking stations, presets, and band selection.

Wired & Wireless Android Auto™ Operation
Wired Connection: Connect a compatible Android device via USB and press the Android Auto icon.
Wireless Connection: Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your Android device. Press the wireless Android Auto icon, search for your device, pair it, and confirm the connection.

Wired & Wireless CarPlay Operation
Wired Connection: Connect a compatible iPhone via USB and press the Apple CarPlay icon.
Wireless Connection: Enable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi on your iPhone. Press the wireless CarPlay icon, search for your device, pair it, and confirm the connection.

General Operation
From the Main Menu, select Settings to access options for General, Audio, Display, and Others. Adjust settings using the touch screen.

Limited One Year (Or Two Year*) Warranty
This warranty provides specific legal rights, which may vary by state. Dual Electronics Corp. warrants this product to the original purchaser against defects in material and workmanship for one year (or two years*) from the original purchase date.
Warranty Coverage:
- Limited 1-year warranty when purchased from an authorized Dual dealer.
- Limited 2-year warranty when purchased from and professionally installed by an authorized Dual dealer (proof of purchase and installation required).
What is Covered: All defects in material and workmanship.
What is Not Covered: Software, installation/removal costs, damage from accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, product modification, improper installation, incorrect voltage, unauthorized repair, or failure to follow instructions. Software license conditions and copyright notices are available at www.dualav.com.
Warranty Service: Before calling for service, check the troubleshooting guide in the owner's manual. To obtain service, pack the product securely (preferably in original packaging) and ship it via prepaid transportation with a copy of the original receipt to an authorized service center. Include a written description of the problem, your name, return UPS shipping address (no P.O. Boxes), and a daytime phone number.
