1. SAFETY

Maintain the dolly in good condition (use an authorised service agent).

Replace or repair damaged parts. Use genuine parts only. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will invalidate the warranty.

Locate the dolly in a suitable work area. Keep area clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials, and ensure that there is adequate

lighting.

Ensure that the floor is level and strong enough (preferably concrete) to take the weight of the dolly and the motorcycle. DO NOT use

the dolly on tarmacadam, as the surface may be unstable.

Keep the dolly clean for best and safest performance.

9

The maximum motorcycle weight is 565kg. DO NOT exceed this rated capacity.

Use appropriate straps to secure the motorcycle to the dolly when manoeuvring.

9

Pull rather than push the motorcycle when manoeuvring on the dolly to reduce the risk of pushing the motorcycle off its side stand.

Maintain correct balance and footing, DO NOT over reach. Ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.

Keep children and unauthorised persons away from the work area.

DO NOT use the dolly for a task it is not designed to perform.

DO NOT use the dolly if it is damaged.

DO NOT use the dolly when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

DO NOT allow untrained persons to use the dolly.

DO NOT make any modifications to the dolly.

Before storing in safe area, ensure that all parts are clean and free of grease and oil.

2. INTRODUCTION

Motorcycle dolly holds a single motorcycle with a side stand, weighing up to 565kg. Easy to manoeuvre around the workshop or garage. Front and rear lever operated wedge gates allow for easy loading and unloading to the 2000 x 200 x 50mm (L x W x H) loading track. Includes a 5-position side stand platform to fit varied length side stand, front/rear steel pins to keep the motorcycle on the dolly during moving, and smooth-rolling dual castor wheels.

4.1.

Unpack the dolly and check contents with list above. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your supplier

immediately. Numbers in brackets refer to item numbers in fig.1.

4.2.

Attach the castors (2) to the frame assembly (1) and the platform (17) using M6 x 16 bolts (3), flat washers Ø6 (4), lock washers Ø6

(5) and nut M6 (6).

4.3.

Connect the frame assemblies (1) with the connecting bars (16) using M8 x 55 bolts (11), flat washers Ø8 (12), lock washers Ø8 and

nuts M8 (14).

4.4.

Fit the platform (17) using screws M8 (15), flat washers Ø8 (12), lock washers Ø8 (13) and nuts M8 (14). The frame assemblies (1)

have six holes for fitting the platform (17) in various positions to suit the particular motorcycle side stand position.

4.5.

Fit the connecting plates (7) to the wedge gates (9) and (18). Attach the connecting plates (7) to the frame assemblies (1) using

screws M6 (8), flat washers Ø6 (4), lock washers Ø6 (5) and nuts M6 (6).

4.6.

Insert the stop pins (10) in to the slots in the frame assembly (1).

4.7.

Check that all fasteners are fully tightened.

5. OPERATION

WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply the safety instructions before use. WARNING! DO NOT attempt to overload the dolly. LOADING Position the dolly in a suitable area, checking that the surface on which the dolly will be used is solid and flat (preferably concrete). Lower the wedge gates (9) and (18) to hold the dolly in position. Remove the stop pin (10) from the frame assembly (1) at the end of the dolly the motorcycle is to be loaded. Push the motorcycle on to the dolly and support with the side stand on the platform (17) and replace the stop pin (10). Secure the motorcycle using suitable straps. Lift the wedge gates (9) and (18) to allow the dolly to be manoeuvred.

UNLOADING Lower the wedge gates (9) and (18) to hold the dolly in position. Remove the straps securing the motorcycle. Remove the stop pin (10) from the frame assembly (1) at the end of the dolly the motorcycle is to be unloaded. Lift the side stand and remove the motorcycle from the dolly. Replace the stop pin (10). Store the dolly in a safe, dry, childproof location with the wedge gates (9) and (18) lowered.

6. MAINTENANCE

6.1.

Before use, check the frame assembly (1) and platform (17) for cracks and damage.

6.2.

Regularly check that all fasteners are tight.

6.3.

Periodically lubricate the castors.

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.
