Preparation Before Voyage
Hull Structure
The hull includes the following components:
- Deck
- Cabin cover
- Cabin cover lock
- Bottom
- Spray water pump
- Steering gear pull rod
A display stand is also included.
Power and Alarms
Low Power Alarm
Boat: When the boat is in low power, the remote control will emit a "didi-didi" alarm sound. Return the boat immediately.
Remote Control Transmitter: When the remote control battery is low, the indicator light will blink. Replace the battery as soon as possible.
Over Distance Alarm
When the boat is beyond the remote control range, the remote control will emit a continuous "di-di" alarm sound. Return the boat to the controllable area promptly.
Water Cooling System
The motor is cooled by water flow. During operation, water circulates through a radiating pipe surrounding the motor to dissipate heat.
Important Notices
- Power Sequence: Turn on the remote control first, then power on the boat. When finishing, power off the boat first, then turn off the remote control.
- Continuously vibration during voyage may cause the power connector to become loose; check this periodically.
- Collisions caused by improper operation may damage the hull or break the propeller.
- It is forbidden to sail in areas where people are swimming. Stay away from salty or muddy water.
- Remove the battery when the boat is idle. Keep the cabin dry and clean.
Battery Charging
The initial power of the battery is insufficient; it needs to be fully charged before use.
- Plug the charging cable interface into a USB output interface (voltage output required: 5V ± 0.5V).
- Connect the other end to the battery charging port. The green light will illuminate.
- The light will turn off once the battery is fully charged.
Note: Total charge time is approximately 2 hours.
Device Battery Installation
Follow these steps to install the battery in the boat hull:
- Twist the cover lock to the left or right to unlock.
- Lift the cover upwards.
- Unlock the cover latch according to the label on the inner cover surface and lift the cover upwards.
- Place the battery into the battery holder of the hull. Ensure the battery cord is close to the side of the hull. Push the battery to the bottom and secure it snugly.
- Connect the battery plug to the hull plug.
- Press down the power switch to turn the power on. Press down again to turn it off.
- Cover both the inside and outside of the cabin and lock it securely.
Bow Cover Installation
Align the bow cover with the hole in the bottom of the boat and install it in place.
Remote Control Transmitter Battery Installation
Open the transmitter battery cover and install four 1.5V "AA" batteries (not included). Ensure batteries are installed with the correct polarity as indicated inside the compartment.
Remote Control Transmitter Operation
Controls
- Power indicator: Shows the status of the transmitter.
- Power switch: Turns the transmitter on/off.
- Steering knob: Controls the boat's direction.
- Accelerator trigger: Controls forward/backward movement.
- Rudder volume: Adjusts steering sensitivity (minimum counter-clockwise, maximum clockwise).
- Tail rudder median adjustment: Used to fine-tune the boat's straight-line tracking.
Navigation Operation
Connecting Transmitter to Boat
Ensure the accelerator trigger and steering knob are in their neutral positions.
Pairing the Device to Transmitter Frequency
- Power on the transmitter; the indicator light will blink quickly.
- Install and connect the boat battery, then tighten the hatch cover.
- Once the remote control transmitter light turns on solid, the devices are paired and ready for use (accompanied by a voice prompt).
Note: Before long-distance voyages, it is recommended to practice operation on a close-range water surface.
Navigation Control
- Forward: Pull the accelerator trigger backwards.
- Backwards: Push the accelerator trigger forward.
- Turn Left: Pull the accelerator trigger backwards, then turn the steering knob counter-clockwise.
- Turn Right: Pull the accelerator trigger backwards, then turn the steering knob clockwise.
Flip Reset
If the boat capsizes, pull the accelerator trigger back and forth. The boat should flip back over. (This function may fail in a low voltage state).
Fine Tuning
Rudder Volume Adjustment: Clockwise adjustment increases rudder volume; counter-clockwise adjustment decreases it.
Tail Rudder Median Adjustment: If the boat does not sail straight:
- When the boat rotates clockwise, adjust the tail rudder median counter-clockwise.
- When the boat rotates counter-clockwise, adjust the tail rudder median clockwise.
