Installation Options
The dryer can be installed in various configurations:
- Stacked: A diagram shows a dryer placed directly on top of a washer.
- Side by Side: A diagram shows a dryer positioned next to a washer.
- On Pedestals: A diagram shows a dryer elevated on optional pedestal bases.
- Stacked Depth: A diagram indicates the approximate depth of a stacked unit is 39 inches.
Installing Your Dryer
1. Alcove or Closet Installation
Minimum clearances are required for alcove or closet installations:
- Sides: 1 in. (2.5 cm)
- Top: 17 in. (43.2 cm)
- Rear: 4 in. (10.2 cm)
- Closet Front: 2 in. (5.1 cm)
If the washer and dryer are installed together in a closet, the closet front must have at least a 72 sq. in. (465 cm²) unobstructed air opening. Your washer alone does not require a specific air opening.

2. With Optional Pedestal Base or Stacking Kit
