Simtab Media 18 Pro Projector User Manual
Please read this instruction thoroughly before using this product and keep it for future reference.

Notice:
Recommended: For optimal viewing, ensure the projector is placed on a stable surface and aimed correctly. The diagram shows a projector correctly positioned for viewing a video.
NOT Recommended: Avoid placing the projector in unstable positions or with obstructed lenses, as depicted in the 'NOT Recommended' diagrams.
The projector features the following ports and controls:

- Plug the power cable into an outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the projector.
- Connect your device to the projector correctly using the appropriate cable (HDMI, AV, VGA, or USB).
- Select the correct input source to project your device's content.
- Adjust the keystone and focus rings to achieve the best image performance.
- Adjust the kickstand accordingly for optimal screen positioning.
- To turn off the projector, press the power button twice.
The projector supports various input sources for connecting your devices:
- Multimedia Connection: Connect via USB.
- HDMI Connection: Connect via HDMI cable.
- VGA Connection: Connect via VGA cable.

- On your Android device, go to settings and turn on "WLAN".
- Connect your Android device to the WiFi projector (projector-xxxxxx).
- Enter the password: 12345678.
- Turn on the wireless projection function in your phone's status bar or settings page, search for "projector-XXXX" and click to connect.
- Click "projector-xxxxxx" on your Android device; screen mirroring will be successful in seconds.
- Turn on WLAN (WIFI) and mobile data on your iPhone.
- In your phone's settings, turn on wireless projection and search for "projector-xxxxxx".
- Enter the password: 12345678.
- Open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring on your iOS device, and select "projector-xxxxxx" from the searching list.
- Click "projector-xxxxxx" on your iOS device; screen mirroring will be successful in seconds.
- Select source as "Multi-Screen" after power on.
- Connect the projector and iPhone using the original USB data cable via the USB 5V input.
- When prompted, get "Trust" from your iPhone by accepting the connection and entering your passcode if required.
- Select source as "Multi-Screen" after power on.
- Plug the original data micro-USB cable to connect. Turn on "multi-screen" in your Android device's settings directly.
- Choose "projector-xxxxxx" and start mirroring.
Please connect to your home WiFi network to save your mobile traffic.
- Turn on WLAN (WIFI) and mobile data on your phone.
- Enter your phone's WLAN (WIFI) setting and search for "projector-xxxxxx".
- Enter password: 12345678.
- Open your phone browser and input IP "192.168.49.1", then enter WIFI AP to scan WIFI.
- Click "Wifi AP".
- Click "Scan".
- Connect your home WIFI.
- Turn on Screen Mirroring function.
Choose and connect "projector-xxxxxx" and Start Mirroring.
Adjust the image projected onto the screen:
- If the projected picture is off the screen, please aim the lens of the projector at the center of the screen.
- If the picture is distorted, as shown in Figure 2, please place the projector on a horizontal surface. As shown in Figure 3, use the remote control to adjust using the ±50 data ladder correction function.
Precaution: When the projector is suspended from the ceiling or in a rear projection system, please change the projection direction in the settings.
The diagrams show the process of adjusting the projected image for optimal alignment and distortion correction.
1. ±15° manual keystone correction: Adjust the ±15° image performance by using the manual keystone correction feature.
2. ±50° electronic keystone correction:
- Press the menu button on the remote control.
- Navigate to and select the "Keystone" function.
- This allows for automatic keystone correction vertically and horizontally.
The settings displayed show options for H.Calibration, V.Calibration, Rotate, and Auto Adjust OFF.
The projector can be connected to various devices:
- 1. Laptop: Connect via HDMI, VGA, or USB.
- 2. Power Adapter/External Storage: Connect to power or external devices.
- 3. Smartphone/Tablet: Connect via USB or Wi-Fi mirroring.
- 4. DVD Player/TV Box: Connect via HDMI or AV.
- 5. USB Devices: Connect via USB for media playback.
- 6. SD Card: Insert SD card for media playback.
- 7. Audio Devices: Connect to speakers or headphones via Audio Out.
- 8. Headphones/Speakers: Connect for audio output.

Tips:
If you find black spots on the screen during use, please do not worry. Contact Simtab customer support for a video solution.
- No Sound: Turn Dolby audio off in your device. An external speaker is required for VGA cable connection.
- Blurry Image: Adjust the focus ring/keystone. Ensure the projector and screen/wall are at an effective distance.
- Remote Unresponsive: Make sure the remote points directly at the IR receiver and is not obstructed.
- Mobile Connection: For iOS, use a genuine lightning to HDMI cable. For Android, use a Micro USB to HDMI adapter or Type C to HDMI cable.
- Up Side Down Images: Enter "Menu" on the projector or remote to flip the projection image.
