Quick Start Guide
This guide provides essential information for getting started with your Laifen Wave SE Electric Toothbrush.
Selecting the Right Brush Head
- Gum Care (CS): Gentle cleaning for comfortable daily brushing with ultra-fine, soft bristles.
- Super-Clean (GS): High-efficiency cleaning that leaves teeth feeling fresher, featuring a C-shaped bristle design.
- Ultra-Whitening (US): Powerful cleaning that whitens and polishes teeth, with a W-shaped bristle design.
Startup & Mode Selection
- Attach your selected brush head.
- Long press the power button for 2 seconds to disable Flight Mode. Apply pressure when pressing the button. Note: There is a 0.3 to 1mm gap between the handle and the brush head to reduce vibrations.
- Press once to turn on/pause. Press twice to switch modes.
Modes:
- Mode 1
- Mode 2
- Mode 3
If paused for 10 seconds, the toothbrush will automatically enter Sleep Mode. For more information on modes, refer to the User Manual.
Customizing Personalized Modes
Use the Laifen App to customize brushing modes.
- Scan the QR code to download the app or find it in your app store.
- Ensure the toothbrush is on and the power indicator is lit.
- Open the app, tap '+', find your device (LFTB01-X-XXXX), and link it.
- Customize Vibration Strength, Oscillation Range, and Oscillation Speed.
Scientific Brushing Method
- Apply a small amount of toothpaste to the brush head, wet it, and then turn on the toothbrush. Place the toothbrush in your mouth before turning it on to prevent splashing.
- Position the toothbrush at the gum line, tilt upwards at a 45° angle, and hold on each tooth for a few seconds.
- The toothbrush will vibrate every 30 seconds to remind you to change brushing areas (this feature can be activated in the App). After 2 minutes, it will automatically enter Sleep Mode.
- Rinse your mouth with water after brushing.

Important Safety Tips
DANGERS
- Do not expose the device or battery to excessively high temperatures.
- Be aware that metal objects touching battery terminals can cause short-circuit.
- If battery leakage is detected, discontinue use immediately and dispose of batteries according to local environmental laws.
- Do not place charging components in damp environments or water.
- Do not charge when there is liquid present in the charging port.
- This device must only be supplied at Safety Extra Low Voltage (SELV) corresponding to its markings.
WARNINGS
- This device contains non-replaceable batteries. Dispose of them properly by a professional according to local environmental recycling requirements.
- Charge the device in an environment between 0°C to 30°C.
- Regularly inspect the device, power cord, and accessories for damage. Stop using if damaged.
- Do not attempt to modify or repair the device yourself.
- Do not clean the device with paint thinner, solvents, or chemical substances.
- Store the device out of reach of children and supervise children to ensure they do not play with it.

- Initial discomfort or minor gum bleeding may occur as gums adjust. Start with Mode 1. Discomfort usually subsides within 1-2 weeks. If it persists, consult a dentist.

Choosing the Right Brush Head

- Ultra-Whitening (US): W-shaped bristle design increases polishing area for a brighter smile.
Starting Your Brushing Experience
- Attaching and Replacing Brush Heads: Align brush head bristles with the front of the handle. Press down onto the motor shaft. A 0.3 to 1mm gap is necessary. To remove, hold the handle and push the brush head upwards.
- Powering On/Off and Switching Modes: Press the power button once to power on/pause. Press twice to switch modes.
Modes:
- Mode 1: For first-time users and sensitive teeth.
- Mode 2: For daily use and excellent cleaning.
- Mode 3: For plaque removal and powerful whitening.
A single press pauses brushing. If paused for 10 seconds, the toothbrush enters Sleep Mode.
More Smart Functions
- Smart Wake-up: Lift the toothbrush upright to awaken it from pause.
- Brushing Timers: Vibrates and enters Sleep Mode after 2 minutes. Timer can be adjusted in the app (1-5 minutes). The 30s Reminder (activated in app) prompts area changes.
- Flight Mode: Long press the power button for 2 seconds to enter/exit Flight Mode.
Connecting to the App
- Scan the QR code to download the app or get it from your app store. Ensure the app is updated and register.
- Ensure the toothbrush is turned on and the power indicator is lit (cannot connect in Sleep Mode).
- Open the app, tap '+', find your device (LFTB01-X-XXXX), and link it.
- The toothbrush power indicator will turn blue upon successful connection.
Indicator Status:
- Battery Percentage: 100%-20% | Indicator Status: Steady Green Light
- Battery Percentage: 10%-1% | Indicator Status: Steady Red Light
- Battery Percentage: 10%-1% | Indicator Status: Blinking Red Light
- Battery Percentage: 0% | Indicator Status: Red light blinks every 0.5 seconds until motor stops.
Charging Information
- Charge the toothbrush before first use if necessary.
- Connect the bottom of the toothbrush with the USB-C charging cable. Do not use force.
- Connect the USB-C cable to a USB-A power adapter (100-240V, 50/60Hz) and an AC outlet.
Charging Indicators:
- Battery Percentage: 100% | Indicator Status: Steady Green Light
- Battery Percentage: 99%-0% | Indicator Status: Blinking Green Light
A power adapter is not included. Avoid charging in damp environments.
Troubleshooting
If buttons are unresponsive and all indicators blink, contact customer service.
Overheating
If the motor temperature is too high, all mode indicators and the power indicator will blink. Discontinue use and let it cool down.
Disposal and Recycling Information

Battery Disposal Information

Battery Removal Steps:
- Ensure toothbrush is not charging and is turned off.
- Open the bottom cover.
- Disconnect wires using insulated tools.
- Press side clasps to remove the assembly and extract the battery.
- Ensure the toothbrush is not connected to a power source after removal.
Warranty & Support
1-Year Limited Guarantee: Laifen offers a 1-year limited warranty for the electric toothbrush and its charging cable against material or workmanship defects. Repair or replacement services will be provided. Warranty is valid only in the country/region of purchase.
What is not covered: Brush heads, unauthorized resellers, expired warranty, lack of proof of purchase, unofficial modifications, use other than brushing teeth, damage from improper operation, misuse, accidents, excessive wear, or non-Laifen brush heads.
