Product Overview

This document provides instructions for installing the Alphacool Rise Flat Reservoir, compatible with DDC, D5, and VPP pumps. It details the included accessories and provides step-by-step guidance for various mounting scenarios.

Pump Assembly

Instructions for mounting the pump to the reservoir:

DDC Pump: Mount the DDC pump onto the expansion tank using the 4 M4x20 screws as illustrated.
D5/VPP Pump: Mount the D5 or VPP pump onto the expansion tank using the 8 M4x12 screws as illustrated.

Case Mounting

Steps for mounting the reservoir within a PC case:

Select the appropriate bracket based on the intended installation.
Fasten the chosen bracket using the 4 M3x5 screws. Note the two different hole rows on the reservoir for mounting, allowing for adjustable spacing.
Screw the reservoir into the desired position in the case using the 4 M4x6 screws.

Important Notes for Case Mounting:

Brackets and reservoirs must be screwed in vertically.
The pump must be positioned at the lowest point of the assembly.
The reservoir is compatible with a hole spacing of 105x105mm (for 120mm fans/radiators).

Radiator Mounting

Steps for mounting the reservoir to a radiator:

Mount either the standard bracket or the extended bracket to the radiator using the 4 M3x6 screws.
Position the reservoir between the mounted brackets.
Secure the reservoir to the brackets using the 4 M3x5 countersunk screws on the sides. Refer to case mounting instructions for additional options.

Important Notes for Radiator Mounting:

Brackets and reservoirs must be screwed in vertically.
The pump must be positioned at the lowest point of the assembly.
The reservoir is only suitable for 120mm radiators.

Fill Port Usage

The inlets can be used to fill the expansion tank. Screw in the screw plugs using the provided tool. It is recommended to use clear Alphacool coolants and avoid UV variants.

Stop Plug Usage

Ensure the stop plug is always screwed into the position shown if a thread is not being used as an inlet.

Tube Assembly

Connect the reservoir's inlet and outlet ports as shown in the diagram.

Digital RGB Assembly

Instructions for integrating digital RGB lighting:

Carefully insert the provided A-RGB strip into the designated groove, ensuring no components are damaged. This applies to all Rise Flat Reservoir variants.
To control the digital RGB lighting, connect the included adapter to the 3-pin female connector and then to a digital RGB controller (e.g., Alphacool Aurora Eiscontrol, sold separately). Additional digital RGB LEDs can be connected to the remaining 3-pin male connector.
