Operation and Use
Intended Use
This infrared lamp is designed for irradiating the human body, providing heat therapy.
Target Group
The device is intended for domestic use by adults without impaired sensory functions who are fully aware of the risks.
Clinical Application
The infrared lamp can be used to warm specific skin areas, improving blood circulation and metabolism. Infrared radiation stimulates healing processes.
Indications
Can be used as supportive therapy for conditions such as:
- Throat, nose, and ear conditions (e.g., acute ear inflammation)
- Acne
- Muscle tension (e.g., periarticular soft tissue diseases, myalgia, myogelosis, myotendinopathy, fibrositis)
- Joint inflammation with arthrosis
- Rheumatoid joint diseases (not during acute flare-ups)
Contraindications
Do not use if you have:
- Impaired sensory perception or cognitive abilities.
- Sensitivity to heat limitations (e.g., due to diabetes, paraplegia, concentration disorders, skin conditions, scars, age, medication, or alcohol).
- Acute inflammatory joint diseases, infections, circulatory disorders, heart failure, recent heart attack, thyroid or adrenal gland issues, open wounds, edema, or are undergoing radiotherapy (within 3 months).
- Impaired sensation in the treatment area.
- Pregnancy (avoid abdominal area).
- Implanted medical devices (consult a doctor).
- Children should be supervised to prevent misuse.
Side Effects
Skin hypersensitivity or allergic reactions may occur due to medications, cosmetics, or food. Discontinue use immediately if symptoms appear. Skin irritation (tingling, itching, burning) may occur; adjust distance or reduce treatment time.
Commissioning
- Remove all packaging materials before use.
- Check the device for any damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Protect the device from dust, dirt, sunlight, and moisture.
Preparation for Treatment
- Position yourself comfortably in front of the lamp.
- Adjust the tilt angle of the lamp for optimal positioning.
- Select a distance where the heat feels pleasant. Increase distance if the heat is too intense.
- Always wear the provided protective eyewear.
Treatment Time
- Use the on/off switch (5) to turn the device on. The timer (4) defaults to 15 minutes.
- Use the timer selection button (3) to set the desired treatment time (1-15 minutes).
