Operation
- Ensure wiring is done correctly according to the connection diagrams.
- This Zigbee device acts as a wireless receiver, controlled by Zigbee signals.
- Zigbee Network Pairing (with Coordinator or Hub):
- If the device is already paired, remove it from the previous Zigbee network first (refer to "Factory Reset Manually").
- On your Zigbee Controller or hub, select "add lighting device" and enter pairing mode as instructed.
- Reset the device's power to enter network pairing mode. The connected light will flash twice slowly. There is a 15-second timeout; repeat the step if needed.
- Upon successful pairing, the connected light will blink 5 times and then stay solid. The device will then appear in your controller's menu for control.
Over Current Protection
If the total load (resistive) exceeds 8.1A, the relay will automatically turn off to protect the device.
Advanced Pairing & Control Methods
4. TouchLink to a Zigbee Remote
Step 1: Initiate TouchLink commissioning. Method 1: Short press the "Reset" button 4 times (or power cycle the device 4 times) for immediate commissioning (180s timeout). Method 2: Power cycle the device. TouchLink starts after 15 seconds if not added to a network (165s timeout), or immediately if already added (180s timeout). Repeat if timeout occurs.
Step 2: Bring the Zigbee remote or touch panel within 10cm of the lighting device.
Step 3: Set the remote or touch panel into TouchLink commissioning mode, following its manual.
Step 4: Successful linking will be indicated on the remote, and the connected light will flash twice.
Notes:
- Direct TouchLink (neither device added to a Zigbee network): 1 remote per device.
- TouchLink after both devices are added to a Zigbee network: up to 30 remotes per device.
- For control via both gateway and remote, add both to the network first, then TouchLink.
- After TouchLink, the device can be controlled by the linked remotes.
5. Remove from a Zigbee Network (via Coordinator or Hub)
Use your Zigbee controller or hub interface to delete or reset the lighting device as instructed. The connected light will blink 3 times to confirm successful removal.
6. Factory Reset Manually
Note: If the device is already at factory default, no indication will appear upon resetting again. All configuration parameters will be reset.
Step 1: Short press the "Reset" key 5 times continuously. Alternatively, power cycle the device 5 times if the "Reset" key is not accessible.
Step 2: The connected light will blink 3 times to indicate a successful reset.
7. Factory Reset via Zigbee Remote (Touch Reset)
Note: Ensure the device is already added to a network, and the remote is added to the same network or not added to any network.
Step 1: Short press the "Reset" button 4 times to start TouchLink commissioning (180s timeout). Repeat if needed.
Step 2: Bring the Zigbee remote or touch panel within 10cm of the lighting device.
Step 3: Set the remote or touch panel into the Touch Reset procedure, following its manual.
Step 4: Successful reset will be indicated on the remote, and the connected light will flash 3 times.
8. Find and Bind Mode
Note: Ensure the device and remote are already added to the same Zigbee network.
Step 1: Short press the "Reset" button 3 times (or power cycle the device 3 times) to start Find and Bind mode. The connected light will flash slowly. This mode has a 180-second timeout; repeat if needed.
Step 2: Set the Zigbee remote or touch panel (target node) into find and bind mode, enabling it to find the initiator. Refer to the remote's manual.
Step 3: The remote or touch panel will indicate successful binding, allowing control of the device.
9. Learn Zigbee Green Power Switch
Step 1: Short press the "Reset" button 4 times (or power cycle the device 4 times) to start Learning to GP switch mode. The connected light will flash twice. This mode has a 180-second timeout; repeat if needed.
Step 2: Set the Zigbee Green Power switch into Learning mode, following its manual.
Step 3: The connected light will flash twice to indicate successful learning. The switch can now control the device.
Note: Each device can learn a maximum of 20 Zigbee Green Power switches.
10. Delete Learning from Zigbee Green Power Switch
Step 1: Short press the "Reset" button 3 times (or power cycle the device 3 times) to start the delete Learning to GP switch mode. The connected light will flash slowly. This mode has a 180-second timeout; repeat if needed.
Step 2: Set the paired Zigbee Green Power switch into Learning mode, following its manual.
Step 3: The connected light will flash 4 times to indicate successful deletion.
11. Setup Zigbee Network & Add Devices (No Coordinator Required)
Step 1: Short press the "Reset" button 4 times (or power cycle the device 4 times) to enable the device to set up a Zigbee network. The connected light will flash twice. This mode has a 180-second timeout; repeat if needed.
Step 2: Set another Zigbee device or remote/touch panel into network pairing mode and pair it to the network, following its manual.
Step 3: Pair additional devices and remotes to the network as desired, following their manuals.
Step 4: Bind the added devices and remotes through TouchLink so they can be controlled by the remotes, following their manuals.
