This guide provides essential information for setting up and using your ANRAN HD WiFi security camera, including warranty details and contact information.

Warranty Tips

1. Product Introduction

The ANRAN HD WiFi security camera features a sleek design with key components for optimal performance:

Indicator Light: Provides status feedback.
Lens: Captures video footage.
LED Light: For illumination.
PIR Motion Sensor: Detects movement.
MIC: For audio capture.
Micro SD Card Slot: Supports local storage.
Power Button: For turning the device on/off.
Type-C Port: For charging and data transfer.
Reset Button: For factory reset.

CAUTION: Insert the Micro SD Card according to the direction shown in the diagram. Micro SD Card might JAM if inserted incorrectly and the device could be damaged.

SD Card Port: Supports micro SD card for local storage (Max. 128GB). Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds to restore factory settings. Card capacity requirements: ≤128GB. Read and write speed requirements: Class 10 level. File format: FAT32.

2. APP Installation and Account Registration

2.1 Download "ANRAN" APP

Method 1: Download "ANRAN" APP from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

Method 2: Scan the ANRAN APP QR code in the original document to download it.

Tips: Please turn on 2 permissions below when using this APP for the first time:

Allow ANRAN APP to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN, or it will fail to add the IP camera.
Allow ANRAN APP to receive pushed messages, or the cellphone will not receive alarm pushes when motion detection or audible alarm is triggered.

2.2 Register Account

New users need to register by e-mail. Click "Register" and follow the steps to complete the registration of the account, then log in.

Note:

When registering a new account, choose the region you are actually in. Different registered regions cannot share the camera.
Choose to register by e-mail.

3. How to Add Camera to APP

Warming Tip: Please insert the Micro SD card before powering on, otherwise, the SD card cannot be detected.

3.1 Power on Camera

Long press the power button for 5 seconds to power on the camera.
The indicator with red light blinking slowly means the camera has started successfully.

3.2 Connect the Camera

Place the camera and smartphone 1 to 3 feet (30 to 100 cm) away from the router to set up Wi-Fi.

Warming Tip:

The camera only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and does not support 5GHz Wi-Fi.
Ensure that the Wi-Fi signal strength is over 85%; if the camera is far from the signal source, it will not connect successfully for the first time.

Wi-Fi Connection Steps:

Open the ANRAN app and select 'Add Device'.
Choose 'Battery Camera' from the device list.
Confirm the camera is powered on and the indicator light is slowly blinking red.
Select your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
A QR code will be generated on your phone screen. Position the camera lens 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) in front of the phone's QR code until you hear a prompt sound.
The app will show 'Connecting device'.
Once connected, the app will display 'Connection successful'.
You can then name your device and complete the setup.

4. PIR Motion Detection Settings

Enter the application - "Parameter Setting" - "Motion Detection" interface to adjust sensitivity.

Warm Tips:

If you encounter missed or delayed alarms frequently, adjust the motion detection sensitivity to resolve them.
If you notice poor performance of motion detection in a night environment, try to turn off "Night Detection".

6. FAQs

1) The device prompts offline?

Check if the equipment is in the power-on state and if the working light is on normally.
Check if the Wi-Fi network is in good condition and restart the router.
If the device is far from the router, resulting in poor Wi-Fi signal, it is recommended to move the router closer or add a Wi-Fi amplifier.
Delete the camera from your ANRAN account and add it again after resetting the device.
Check if the device firmware and application program are the latest version.

2) Update router or Wi-Fi password?

Delete the camera from your ANRAN account. After resetting the device, use the new Wi-Fi and password to add it again.

3) Can't play historical video?

Check the status of the SD card in "Settings" to ensure it has been successfully recognized.
Reinsert the SD card.
In the application, format the SD card.
Try another new SD card.

4) Why doesn't the device identify the SD card?

Insert the Micro SD card before power on.
It is recommended to use SanDisk, Samsung, and other brand cards.
It is recommended to use a standard class 10 TF card.
Only FAT32 format is supported.
The TF card cannot be identified when the internet environment is not good.

5) Why is the battery life of my device poor?

Check if the number of alarms is too frequent. The working time of the device determines battery life; more frequent PIR wake-ups consume battery faster. It is recommended to lower motion detection sensitivity and set alarm intervals/time plans. (Note: Outdoor AC units, moving cars, and passing pedestrians can cause frequent alarms. Adjust the device angle to avoid these objects.)
In cold weather, battery capacity will be reduced, affecting device endurance.

6) The phone cannot receive the alarm push?

Turn on all push permissions for the "ANRAN" application in your mobile phone's system settings.
Ensure the device's motion detection function is successfully turned on.
Restart the phone and clear the cache on Android phones.
Check if the network is good.

7) How to judge whether charging is successful?

The device's charging indicator light is red, meaning it is charging. A blue light means charging is complete. It will take approximately 10 hours or more to fully charge.

8) What should I do if the charge fails?

Determine if the power adapter is good; try another.
Determine if the Type-C charging cable is good; try another.
The charging indicator may be defective; check charging condition in the phone APP.
Determine if the device's charging port is not in good contact with the Type-C charging cable.
The device has a low-temperature charging protection module; do not charge at low temperatures.
