Original Accessories / Attachments

Only use accessories and attachments specified in the user manual or whose mounting is compatible with the device.

[Warning] Do not use accessories not recommended by PARKSIDE. This can lead to electric shock and fire.

ACHTUNG! Hot surface. Risk of burns.

Before Use

Charging the Battery Pack (See Fig. A)

[Attention] Always unplug the charger before removing or inserting the battery pack.

[Warning] Observe the safety instructions and the instructions for charging and correct use provided in the user manual for your battery and charger of the 20V series.

A detailed description of the charging process and further information can be found in the separate operating instructions.

Note: It is ideal to fully charge the battery before putting it into operation. Li-ion batteries can be recharged at any time without shortening their lifespan. Interrupting the charging process does not damage the battery.

Never charge the battery pack if the ambient temperature is below 10°C or above 40°C. If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for a long time, the charge level must be checked regularly. The optimal charge level is between 50% and 80%. The storage climate should be cool and dry, with an ambient temperature between 0°C and 50°C.

The recommended ambient temperature range for use with tools and batteries is between -5°C and 50°C.

Inserting / Removing the Battery Pack

Inserting Battery Pack

Checking Battery Status

To check the battery status, press the battery status button 6 (see main illustration).

The charge level is indicated by the battery display LED 7 as follows:

Operation

Switching On/Off

Switching On

To start the device, press and hold the ON/OFF switch 11. The LED work light 10 illuminates when the ON/OFF switch 11 is pressed lightly or fully, illuminating the work area in poor lighting conditions.

Switching Off

Release the ON/OFF switch 11 to switch off the device.

Adjusting Speed / Tightening Torque

Light pressure on the ON/OFF switch 11 results in low speed/tightening torque. Increasing pressure increases the speed/tightening torque.

The tightening torque depends on the selected speed and the duration of the impact.

[Attention] The actual achieved tightening torque must always be checked with a torque wrench!

Note: The integrated motor brake ensures a quick stop.

Changing Direction

Change the direction of rotation by pressing the direction switch 4 to the right or left.

Inserting Bits

Insert the adapter 12 or bit holder 13 into the tool holder 1. Pull the locking sleeve 2 back and allow the adapter 12 or bit holder 13 to click into place.

Maintenance and Cleaning

[Warning] RISK OF INJURY! Switch off the device and remove the battery before performing any work on the device. The device is maintenance-free.

The device must always be kept clean, dry, and free from oil or grease. Liquids must not enter the device.

Use a dry cloth to clean the housing. Never use gasoline, solvents, or cleaning agents that attack plastic.

If a lithium-ion battery is to be stored for a long time, the charge level must be checked regularly. The optimal charge level is between 50% and 80%. The optimal storage climate is cool and dry.
