POLARIZED PLUG: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade wider than the other). To reduce electric shock risk, it fits into a polarized outlet only one way. If it doesn't fit, flip it over. If it still doesn't fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug.
GROUNDED PLUG: This product has a grounded plug, fitting only a three-prong outlet. Do not bypass this feature. Improper connection may risk electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if unsure about outlet grounding.
Important Safeguards
- Do not pull the cord to remove the plug from the socket.

- The appliance is intended for household and similar use (shops, offices, B&Bs, hotels, residential environments). Other uses (restaurants, bars, cafes) are improper.
- For dense mixtures, do not use dough hooks continuously for more than 4 minutes; let cool for 10 minutes before restarting.
- Switch off and disconnect the appliance before changing accessories or approaching moving parts.
- Do not block ventilation or heat dissipation slots.
- Immerse whips in the bowl with food before starting.
- The Hand Mixer is designed for mixing, kneading, whisking eggs or cream. Do not use for other purposes.
Electrical Cord:
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce entanglement risks.
- Longer detachable cords or extension cords may be used if care is exercised.
- If using a long cord/extension cord: ensure its marked electrical rating is at least equal to the appliance's; if grounded, use a 3-wire cord; arrange it so it doesn't drape over surfaces where it can be tripped over.
Connect the appliance:
- Ensure mains voltage and frequency match the data plate.
- Connect only to a perfectly installed power outlet.
- If plug/outlet are incompatible, have the outlet replaced by qualified staff.
Disposal:
- Old electrical equipment must not be disposed of with household waste. Take it to separate collection facilities for electrical and electronic waste for recycling and environmental protection. Contact local authorities for information.
- Packaging materials are non-polluting and recyclable. Dispose of them at appropriate waste collection centers.

Identification Plate (12)
The identification plate states the technical data, serial number, and marking. It must never be removed.
Before Commissioning
- Unpack the appliance carefully, removing all packaging materials, labels, and stickers.
- Clean the motor base with a damp cloth. Wash all components and dry thoroughly (see "Cleaning and Maintenance").
- Before use, check that all components are integral.
Assembly of Components (Fig. B)
Diagram B illustrates the assembly of components. It shows how to insert beaters/dough hooks with a round ring (A) into the round slot (A), and those with an octagonal ring (B) into the octagonal slot (B).
[!] Do not use two accessories of different types together.
Description of Controls and Accessories
The appliance has 3 buttons and a time/speed display.
- Display (4): Shows selected speed (4a) and running timer in minutes/seconds (4b).
- Buttons:
- (5) ON/OFF Key
- (6) Decrease speed / Increase speed / Turbo function (keep pressed)
Optimus Beaters (7)
- Use for semi-hard doughs, medium-consistency creams, chocolate-based doughs, pastry doughs, cakes, and biscuit doughs.
- Always use both beaters.
Dough Hooks (8)
- Use for thick doughs like bread, pizza, egg pasta.
- Always use both dough hooks.
Wire Beaters (9)
- Use for creams with little consistency, sauces, mayonnaise, beating cream, eggs, liquids, egg whites.
- Always use both beaters.
[!] Make sure the bowl used is sufficiently large and high, and positioned on a stable surface.
How to Use the Hand Mixer
Using the Appliance (Fig. A)
- Insert the plug into the power outlet; the display (4) is off.
- Press the button [5] to activate Standby mode: display (4a) shows 0, display (4b) shows 00, all flashing. After 30 seconds of non-use, the display turns off.
- From Standby mode, press buttons [6] (+/-) to start the motor and adjust speed. Display (4b) counts seconds (01-59), while (4a) shows the selected speed.
- After 1 minute of operation, display (4b) resets to 0, and the first segment of the minutes line lights up. This continues up to 4 minutes and 59 seconds.
- After 4m59s: the motor stops automatically. Display (4a) shows 0. Display (4b) shows 4m59s blinking.
- When the motor is running, press button [5] to return to Standby mode.
- Pressing button [5] a second time turns the mixer off.
Smooth Start System
[Info] At the start, speed increases progressively until the set speed is reached. This prevents damage to the appliance, tools, and ingredients.
Turbo Function
- Keeping button [6] (+) pressed for 1 second activates TURBO function: display (4a) shows 9, display (4b) continues counting seconds. Motor speed is maximum.
- After releasing button [6] (+), motor speed returns to the previously set speed shown on display (4a). Display (4b) continues counting seconds.
- When the motor is running, press button [5] to return to Standby mode.
Hints and Tips
- Activate the appliance at a low speed until ingredients are mixed, then increase speed as needed.
- Climatic conditions, seasonal temperature differences, and ingredient consistency can affect preparation time and results.
- For best results with thick dough, use rotational movements and ensure liquid ingredients are at least 50% of the total dough.
- To work thick dough, do not exceed 500g of flour. Let the mixer cool for about 5 minutes before reusing. Switch off once the right consistency is achieved.
- Place the container on a stable, flat surface.
- [Info] During processing or when not in use, the appliance can be positioned on its feet (11) (Fig. C).
- The handmixer has a protection device that stops operation if overloaded. If activated, a flashing symbol [--] appears on the display. Switch off, unplug, wait 10 minutes, then plug back in.

Cleaning and Maintenance

[!] Before cleaning, ALWAYS disconnect the plug from the power outlet and allow the appliance to cool down. Never immerse the motor base (1) in water or other liquids.
The instruction manual provides appropriate cleaning and maintenance instructions. Any other intervention must be performed by an authorized service centre representative.
- Pull the accessory release trigger (3) upwards to remove accessories.
- Beaters, dough hooks, and wire beaters are dishwasher safe.
- Dry all parts of the appliance after cleaning.
- Clean the motor base with a damp cloth, then a dry one. Do not use detergents or abrasive materials.
Troubleshooting
