CHARGE & DISCHARGE FUNCTION
The waterproof cover on the side of this product has a USB output port and a USB input port.
Connect a USB device with the USB output port via a USB cable to power the USB device. When the device is used as a power bank (discharge), the power indicator lights will diminish.
Notes:
- For charging your phone, use the corresponding cable.
- If charging fails, disconnect and reconnect the USB cable to activate power output.
- This function is recommended for emergency use only; do not use it as a normal power bank.
Ports: USB Input, USB Output
SOS ALARM
Press and hold the SOS button for 3 seconds to activate a loud siren and flashing beam. Press the SOS button again to turn it off.
ANTENNA
A stretchable antenna is located on the right side of the radio. Extend it fully for better signal reception when listening to FM/AM/WB channels.
3 POWER METHODS
A. USB charging
Connect the supplied USB cable to the Input port on the right side of the unit to charge the built-in lithium battery. Four blue power indicator lights will illuminate sequentially.
Note: Please charge the radio at least once every three months.
B. Hand Crank
Charge the radio by turning the handle at the bottom of the device to activate the dynamo. Turning the handle for 3 minutes at 120 rpm provides approximately 4 minutes of beam illumination or 15 minutes of radio playback.
Note: Hand-crank charging is recommended for emergencies. USB charging is generally preferred for the lithium battery.
C. SOLAR POWER
Expose the solar panel to direct sunlight for efficient charging. A red power indicator light illuminates when the radio is receiving enough sunlight to begin charging. This method is primarily for maintaining the battery and prolonging its life.
POWER INDICATOR
This unit features four power indicator lights (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) to display the power capacity. The indicator lights remain on during charging and discharging.
