Installation
Compatible HJC helmets for the SMART HJC 11B can be found at www.smarthjc.com.
Refer to the user manual for detailed installation instructions.
- Open the chin-bar/open-face and full-face visor of the modular helmet.
- Remove the helmet module cover.
- Separate the helmet cheek pads.
- Install the button module.
- Install the Bluetooth module.
- Install the microphone:
- For modular or open-face helmets.
- For full-face helmets.
- Install the speaker modules.
- Manage the wires.
- Attach the cheek pads.
- Close the chin-bar/open-face and full-face visor.

Icon Legend
- Tap Button 1x: Tap the button the specified number of times.
- Long Press 10s: Press and hold the button for the specified duration.

Basic Operation
- Power On: Long press the button for 1s.
- Power Off: Tap the button 1x.
- Volume Up: Tap the button 1x.
- Volume Down: Tap the button 1x.

Battery Level Check
When powered on, the battery level is indicated by a series of dots.

Phone Pairing
- Long press the button for 10s to enter "Settings Menu".
- Tap the button 1x to enter "Phone Pairing" mode (blinking lights).
- Select "SMART HJC 11B" from the list of detected Bluetooth devices on your smartphone.

The headset automatically enters phone pairing mode when first turned on. Refer to the user manual for detailed phone pairing instructions.
Using Your Phone
- Answer Call: Tap the button 1x.
- End Call: Long press the button for 2s.
- Reject Call: Long press the button for 2s.
- Voice Dial: Long press the button for 3s in standby mode.
Music Control
- Play/Pause: Long press the button for 1s.
- Next Track: Long press the button for 1s.
- Previous Track: Long press the button for 1s.

Connect with up to 3 people for Bluetooth intercom conversations.

Intercom Pairing
There are two methods for pairing your headset:
Smart Intercom Pairing (SIP)
SIP allows for quick pairing with friends via QR code scanning using the SMART HJC BT app, eliminating the need to remember button operations.
- Pair your smartphone and headset.
- Open the SMART HJC BT app and tap [Smart Intercom Pairing Menu].
- Scan the QR code displayed on your friend's (B) smartphone.
- Confirm that your friend (B) is correctly paired with you (A) by pressing Save.
- Press Scan and repeat steps 3-4 to pair with intercom friends (C) and (D).
Note: Smart Intercom Pairing (SIP) is not compatible with Smart HJC headsets using Bluetooth 3.0 or earlier.
Button Operation
- Each user simultaneously long presses the TAP button for 5 seconds until the voice prompt "Intercom Pairing" is heard.
- Press the TAP button on one of the two headsets. The indicator light will turn blue, confirming successful intercom pairing.
- Repeat the above steps to pair with other headsets (C, D).

Last-Come, First-Served (LCFS)
When paired with multiple headsets for intercom conversations, the last headset paired is set as the first intercom friend.

Two-Way Intercom
- Start/End conversation with first intercom friend (D): Tap the button 1x.
- Start/End conversation with second intercom friend (C): Tap the button 2x.
- Start/End conversation with third intercom friend (B): Tap the button 3x.

Settings Menu
Accessing the Settings Menu
Long press the button for 10s to access the "Settings Menu".
Navigating Menu Options
Tap the [+] or [-] button 1x to move between menu options.
Executing Menu Options
Tap the button 1x to execute the selected menu option.

Troubleshooting
Reset

Notes:
- Resetting does not restore the headset to factory default settings.
- The charging LED is not the reset button; do not press it.
Factory Reset
- Long press the button for 10s to enter "Settings Menu".
- Tap the button 2x to select "Factory Reset".
- Tap the button 1x to confirm "Reset Complete, Thank You".
