Product Description
The ELKO One keycard switch is designed for convenient operation using a key card. It can function as a main switch, a signal sender, or a combination of both. The switch features an integrated light source for enhanced visibility and user experience.
Usage Areas: This product is ideal for applications in hotel rooms, ships cabins, hospitals, institutions, and offices, providing controlled access and lighting.
Necessary Accessories
To complete the installation, the following accessory is required:
- A frame in a corresponding design and colour.

If any single connection is rated at 230V, then all connections must be considered as live 230V connections.

Installation Guide
Follow these steps for installation:
- Step 1: Shows the switch mechanism with two primary connection terminals labeled '1' and '2'.
- Step 2: Depicts a mounting frame being positioned over the switch mechanism.
- Step 3: Illustrates the front cover plate being attached to the mounted mechanism.
- Step 4: Shows the assembled switch unit, ready for installation into a wall box, with terminals labeled '6', '7', '8', '9', '10', and '11'.
- Step 5: Demonstrates inserting the keycard into the switch slot. Tools are shown, possibly for prying or securing.
- Step 6: Depicts the final step of securing the switch assembly to the wall box with a 'click' sound effect indicated.
Wiring Configurations
The ELKO One keycard switch supports various wiring configurations:
Diagram A: 2-pole. Switch light with or without card.
This configuration uses a 2-pole connection. The integrated light in the switch illuminates regardless of whether the keycard is inserted or not. Terminal labels: L (Line), N (Neutral).
Diagram B: 1-pole. Switch light with or without card. Separate reverser for Control Signal.
This 1-pole configuration also keeps the switch light on continuously, with or without the card. It includes an additional terminal for a "Control Signal". Terminal labels: L, N, Control Signal.
Diagram C: 1-pole. Switch light when card is extracted.
In this 1-pole setup, the switch light activates only when the keycard is removed from the switch. Terminal labels: L, N.
Diagram D: 1-pole. Switch light when card is extracted. Separate reverser for Control Signal.
This 1-pole configuration activates the switch light only when the card is out and also includes a separate terminal for a "Control Signal". Terminal labels: L, N, Control Signal.
