Magcubic HY300 Smart Projector - Quick Installation Guide
Attention
Please read this manual carefully before use and keep it for future reference.
- The projector is non dustproof or waterproof.
- In order to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, do not expose the projector to rain and fog.
- Please use the original power adapter. The projector should work under specified rated power supply.
- When projector is working, please do not look directly into the lens, the strong light will flash your eyes and cause slight pain. Children should use the projector under the supervision of adults.
- Do not cover the vents of projector. Heating will reduce the life of projector and cause danger.
- Regularly clean projector vents, or dust may cause cooling malfunction.
- Do not use the projector in greasy, damp, dusty or smoky environment. Oil or chemicals will cause malfunction.
- Please handle with care during daily use.
- Please cut off the power if the projector is out of use for long time.
- Non-professionals are forbidden to disassemble the projector for testing and maintenance.

Product Overview
The Magcubic HY300 is a smart projector designed for home cinema and outdoor use. It features Android 11, Dual Wifi6, Bluetooth 5.0, and a resolution of 1280*720P, with support for 4K input. It is powered by an Allwinner H713 processor and offers 260 ANSI lumens brightness.
Component Identification
Projector Ports: Headset jack, HD port, ON/OFF switch, USB port, Air inlet vent.
Remote Control Functions: ON/OFF, Miracast, Navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK), Volume +/-, Mute, Menu, Home, Return, Rotate.
Quick Installation Guide
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Connect the power adapter to the projector and a power outlet.
- Turn on the projector using the ON/OFF button or the remote control.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to select your language and connect to a Wi-Fi network.
Key Features and Settings
Switching Applications
Navigate to 'My Apps' to view installed programs. Click on a program icon to switch between applications. All apps are clearly distinguished by their icons.
Networking Setting
Go to Settings > Networking Setting > WIFI setting. Turn WIFI ON, select your desired WIFI ID, and enter the password to connect to the internet.
Language Setting
Go to Settings > Language Setting to configure the display language and select the input method.
Bluetooth Setting
Go to Settings > BT setting. Turn BT ON, click 'Refresh Device', and choose the target device to pair.
Projection Setting
Access Settings > Projection Setting to configure projection mode and keystone correction. Options include Screen Zoom, Projection Mode, and Keystone Correction.
Audio Setting
Go to Settings > Audio Setting to adjust the volume. This setting is also accessible after connecting the projector to another output device via HD or Audio/Video.
Date and Time Setting
Go to Settings > Date And Time Setting to configure the timezone, time format, date format, date, and time. Options include Automatically Determine Date and Time, Set Date, and Set Time.
Miracast Setup
Ensure your Android device (phone, tablet, etc.) is on the same local wireless LAN as the projector. On your device, go to Home Screen > My Apps > Miracast > Open Miracast service > Turn on phone mirroring > Connect.
AirPlay Setup
Ensure your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, etc.) is on the same local wireless LAN as the projector. On your device, go to Home Screen > AppStore > AirPin > Install > Launch > Open AirPin service > Turn on phone mirroring > Connect.
DLNA
Supports DLNA DMR for DLNA/UPnP Media streaming. Features include Reverse Control Mode for Screen Mirroring via Sender, Emulate Click as Touch Pen, and Playing Media in DMS/NAS.
Other Settings
Access Settings > Other Setting for Application settings, Factory Reset settings, and Developer options.
Safety Instructions
- Please pay attention to important information related to the operation and maintenance of the projector. Read this information carefully to avoid problems. Following safety instructions will increase the life of the projector.
- Please consult qualified personnel for installation and repair services, and do not use damaged wires, accessories, and other peripherals.
- The projector should be kept away from flammable, explosive, strong electromagnetic interference (large radar stations, power stations, substations), etc. Strong ambient light (avoid direct sunlight), etc.
- Do not cover projector vents.
- Please use the original power adapter.
- Keep adequate ventilation and make sure vents are not covered to avoid projector overheating.
- When projector is working, please do not look directly into the lens, the strong light will flash your eyes and cause slight pain.
- Do not bend or drag the power cord.
- Do not put power cord under projector or any heavy objects.
- Do not cover other soft materials on power cord.
- Do not heat the power cord.
- Avoid touching power adaptor with wet hands.
