Stryker Sage AirTAP® LC Lift Compatible Patient Repositioning System

Advancing mobility with convenience and confidence

Promoting Safety and Mobility

Stryker understands the critical importance of early patient mobility. To help healthcare facilities achieve their mobility protocols and comply with guidelines, the Sage AirTAP® LC system offers a readily available solution that stays under the patient and integrates seamlessly into the workflow. This system combines innovative air-assist technology with lift compatibility to promote both patient safety and mobility.

Key Specifications:

Core System Components and Features

The Sage AirTAP® LC system is comprised of several advanced components designed for optimal patient care and caregiver efficiency:

M² Microclimate Body Pad

This pad features a hi-tech fabric that promotes a healthy microclimate for the skin, is compatible with low air loss technology, and offers an easy-to-clean surface. It effectively absorbs and locks in moisture, protecting the patient's skin while allowing air to flow through.

Prevalon Air Pump

The HEPA-equipped air pump is designed to safely fit under most ICU beds. It includes a hanging clip that allows the booster pump to travel easily with the bed. A quick connect valve provides an easy, secure connection and a rapid release.

Hose Protection Sleeve (HPS)

This sleeve helps protect the air hose from environmental contamination, ensuring system integrity and hygiene.

Point of Care Power Switch

Integrated directly into the workflow, this switch improves efficiency by allowing caregivers to focus on the patient at the bedside without needing to reach for the pump.

Advanced Positioning and Patient Handling

The system includes specialized components for enhanced patient positioning and safe handling:

30° Body and Anchor Wedge System

This system assists in sustaining a 30° side-lying position, reducing pressure by offloading the sacrum. It minimizes manual activity, as wedges slide into a turn, reducing the need for log rolls. It also minimizes patient migration down the bed and reduces the need for boosting, thereby minimizing shear and friction.

Integrated Head Support

Ensures the patient's head maintains a neutral position while the system is inflated.

Ergonomic Handles

Features include Easy Roll Handles, which encourage proper posture for healthcare workers, and Black Positioning Handles, which promote proper ergonomic positioning for caregivers when preparing to reposition a patient.

3-in-1 Mobility Solution

The Sage AirTAP® LC system provides versatile mobility solutions:

  1. In-bed positioning: Addresses risk factors of pressure injury.
  2. Lateral transfer: Utilizes air-assisted technology to safely transfer patients.
  3. Vertical transfer: Enables patients to safely transfer to a bedside chair.

Intuitive Strap System

The system features an intuitive strap system that enables multiple lifting positions, including:
