BLUETTI B300 Expansion Battery User Manual

Your guide to portable power solutions.

1. Brief Introduction

The BLUETTI B300 is an expansion battery pack with 3072Wh capacity, designed to support the BLUETTI AC200MAX and AC300 series, or the AC200P. The AC200MAX can accommodate up to two B300 battery packs, increasing capacity to 8192Wh. When connected to the AC300, users can link two AC300 units with a Split Phase Box (P030A) to double output power and capacity. This setup can boost continuous power to 6,000W, total capacity to 24.6kWh, and solar input capability to 10.4kW. It can serve as an emergency power center, powering home essentials for over a week, or indefinitely off-grid with sufficient solar panels.

3. Safety Instructions

  • ⚠️ DO NOT place the power station near heat sources. Avoid environments with flammable or explosive gases/smoke.
  • ⚠️ DO NOT attempt internal repairs by unauthorized personnel. There are no user-serviceable components inside.
  • ⚠️ DO NOT operate in wet conditions. If the unit becomes wet, allow it to dry completely before use.
  • Ensure proper ventilation while in use and do not obstruct fan openings. Inadequate ventilation may cause permanent damage.
  • Do not stack anything on top of the power station during storage or use.
  • Avoid exposing the unit to vibrations or impacts during operation, as this may lead to loose internal connections.
  • ⚠️ Warning: DO NOT insert foreign objects into any ports of the B300. Use carefully and keep children away.
  • In case of fire, use only a dry powder fire extinguisher.
  • For safety, use only original chargers and cables designed for the equipment. BLUETTI is not liable for damage caused by third-party equipment, which may void your warranty.

4. BLUETTI App

The BLUETTI App allows remote monitoring of the B300's remaining capacity via Bluetooth when the B300 is connected to the AC300/AC200MAX. For detailed information, please refer to the AC300/AC200MAX User Manual.

  • D050S Charging Enhancer Kit: Includes D050S, PV, Car, and Lead-acid Charging Cables. D050S enables extra charging methods via the 7909 port (original AC port). Voltage limit: 12-60VDC, Input: 500W Max.
  • USB-C to USB-C Cable: Supports 20V/5A, 100W output, compatible with most USB-C devices.
  • Cigarette Lighter Port - 5521 Cable: Suitable for 12V devices with 5521 input ports, such as routers or cameras.
  • AC Adapter: For charging the B300 via a wall outlet at 500W Max.

6. Let's Get Started

  • Power ON/OFF: Long press the power button to turn the unit on or off. The operating LED indicator will light up or turn off accordingly.
  • The B300 automatically turns on from the Power Off state when grid charging and/or PV charging voltage is applied to the charging port.

7. Features

The B300 features the following:

  • 1. Battery Capacity LED: Displays the remaining capacity of the B300.
  • 2. 12V/10A Cigarette Lighter Port: An output port for devices with a corresponding plug, such as a vehicle-use vacuum cleaner.
  • 3. USB-C (PD3.0, 100W) Output Port: Can be used with a USB-C to USB-C cable to charge devices like smartphones and laptops up to 100W.
  • 4. DC ON / OFF Button: Toggles the DC output function of the B300 on and off.
  • 5. USB-A (QC3.0) Output Port: USB-A ports support the QC3.0 protocol for fast charging.
  • 6. Power Button: Used to turn the B300 on and off. All functions are closed when the unit is off.
  • 7. Battery Extension Port: The port for connecting the B300 to AC300, AC200MAX, or another B300.
  • 8. PV Input Port: Used for charging the B300 via solar power, car charging, or lead-acid battery charging.
  • 9. Charger Input Port: Used for charging the B300 via a vehicle, additional solar power, lead-acid battery, or AC adapter. Compatible with the D050S.

8. Recharge

8.1 Solar Charging

  • Select solar panels with a working voltage between DC 12V-60V.
  • Connect the solar panel to the B300 using the PV Input Cable (accessory 3).
  • Charging is plug-and-play: it starts automatically after connecting the solar panel, even if the unit is off.
  • Maximum solar current: 10A.
  • After unplugging the solar charging cable, turn off the B300 within 2 minutes.

8.2 AC Charging

  • Use the T500 500W Adapter to charge the B300 from a wall outlet.
  • Estimated fully charging time: 6.6-7.1 hours.

8.3 Car Charging

  • Use the Car Charging Cable (Cigarette Lighter Port - MC4) to charge the B300 from a car's 12V/24V outlet.

8.4 Dual Recharge

  • Combine solar and AC charging for faster recharge times.
  • Estimated fully charging time for dual recharge: 4.9-5.4 hours.

9. AC300 + B300 Extra Battery Connection

The AC300 can expand its capacity with 1 to 4 B300 battery packs, ranging from 3072Wh to 12288Wh. It supports up to 4 battery packs in parallel. The AC300+B300 system activates once the AC300 is charged.

Connection Steps:

  1. Step 1: Press Button 01 and connect the battery port of the AC300 with the B300 using the Capacity Fusion Cable (accessory No. 2).
  2. Step 2: Push Button 02 to lock the cable securely to either the AC300 or B300.
  3. Step 3: Press the power button on both the AC300 and B300 to activate the system.

12. FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

  • How to claim the warranty? Please refer to the warranty card received with the product.
  • Can the unit be upgraded? Yes, when the B300 is connected to the AC300, firmware (including ARM, DSP, IOT, and BMS) can be upgraded online via OTA through the BLUETTI APP.
  • Can it be charged and discharged simultaneously? Yes, the unit supports pass-through charging for DC outputs.
  • Can I use third-party solar panels? Yes, provided they use MC4 connectors and the combined output voltage (series or parallel) is between 12V to 60V, with a maximum of 200W.

13. Storage and Maintenance

  • Before storing, turn off the unit and charge it to 50-70% capacity.
  • To maintain battery health, discharge and fully charge the unit at least once every 3-6 months to prevent deep discharge.
  • Ensure proper ventilation during use and storage, and keep away from combustible materials or gases.
  • Do not stack anything on the unit during storage or use.
  • Avoid exposing the unit to rain, wet environments, or direct sunlight (32-113°F / 0-45°C). A clean, dry environment is strongly recommended.
  • Periodically clean the exterior with dry, non-abrasive cloths to remove dust and debris.
  • Keep the unit out of reach of children and pets.
