- Fragile Screen: TV screens are fragile. Do not apply force to the screen surface. Keep protective film in place until installation is complete.
- Lifting: Two or more people are required to move large TVs. Ensure correct hand placement for safety.
- Stability: Always use furniture that can safely support the TV. Ensure the TV is not overhanging the edge of furniture. Secure the TV to a wall and/or stand to prevent toppling, which can cause serious injury or death. Never place the TV on unstable or uneven surfaces.
- Children: Educate children about the dangers of climbing on furniture. Never allow children to climb on or play with the TV or furniture. Keep small accessories out of children's reach.
- Cords: Route cords and cables so they cannot be tripped over, pulled, or grabbed.
- Environment: Do not expose the TV to rain or moisture. Avoid hot, humid, dusty, or smoky environments. Avoid direct sunlight or heat sources. Sudden temperature changes can cause moisture condensation.
- Liquids: Do not place liquid-filled objects on the TV.
- Magnets: Keep magnetically sensitive objects away from the TV, especially near the speaker unit.
- Medical Devices: This product contains magnets that may interfere with pacemakers or other medical devices. Consult a doctor before use if you use such devices.
- Vehicles/Ships: Do not install the TV in a vehicle, ship, or other vessel due to motion and environmental risks.
Electrical Safety:
- Operate the TV only on the specified voltage (110 V – 240 V AC or 120 V AC for US/Canada).
- Use only the supplied AC adapter and power cord.
- Ensure the AC power outlet is easily accessible.
- Do not touch the AC adapter or power cord with wet hands.
- Disconnect the AC power cord by grasping the plug, not the cord.
- If the AC adapter becomes warm, this is normal.
Prohibited Usage: Do not install or use the TV in locations or situations that may cause malfunction, fire, electric shock, or injury, such as outdoors, near water, in excessively hot/humid/dusty places, or where exposed to mechanical vibration or naked flames.
Setup Guide
Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Prepare the TV: Unpack the TV and identify all components.
- Attach Stand or Wall Mount:
- Table-Top Stand: If not wall-mounting, attach the table-top stand using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
- Wall Mount: For wall mounting, use a recommended Sony wall-mount bracket (e.g., SU-WL855). Ensure the wall can support the TV's weight. Follow the specific instructions provided with the wall-mount bracket. Two people are recommended for wall mounting.
- Connect Cables: Connect power, antenna/cable, HDMI, USB, and other necessary cables to the appropriate ports on the TV.
- Initial Power On: Plug in the power cord and turn on the TV using the power button on the remote control or the TV itself.
- On-Screen Setup: Follow the on-screen prompts to select language, connect to the internet, scan for channels, and configure settings.
Using Your BRAVIA TV
Remote Control: Familiarize yourself with the remote control layout and button functions (Power, Volume, Channel, Input, Menu, Google Assistant, etc.).
Screen Care:

Troubleshooting
