Product Overview
The JA-121PW is a component of the JABLOTRON system, designed for spatial detection of movement in building interiors. Its combination of PIR and MW sensors ensures high resistance to false alarms. The detector uses a PIR sensor to detect movement, which is then confirmed by an MW sensor. An alarm is triggered only after both sensors are activated. Installation is intended for trained technicians with a valid Jablotron certificate.
Installation
⚠️ Always switch the power off before connecting the detector to the bus.
Notes:
- During installation, ensure there are no obstacles in the detector's view.
- Avoid installing the detector close to metal objects, as they can influence the microwave field.
- Do not install two or more detectors in an area where MW transmitters could interfere with each other.
Installation Procedure:
- Open the detector cover using the latch (3). Do not touch the PIR sensor inside (11) as it could be damaged.
- Release the PCB located in the rear housing part by pressing the latch (5) at the top of the cover. In the rear housing part, break out the hole for the bus cable.
- Push the bus cable through the housing part and attach it to the selected place (vertically, cover latch down).
- Insert the PCB back and lock with the latch (5). Connect cable wires to the bus terminals (8).
- Close the detector cover, snap into the cover latch (4), and secure with the locking screw.
