Limited Warranty

LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY - VISUAL LAND TABLET

How Consumer Law Relates to This Warranty: This warranty grants specific legal rights, and you may possess additional rights that vary by location. Visual Land does not exclude, limit, or suspend other rights you may have, including those arising from non-conformity of a sales contract, except as permitted by law. Consult your local laws for a full understanding of your rights.

Warranty Limitations Subject to Consumer Law: To the extent permitted by law, this warranty and its remedies are exclusive and replace all other warranties, remedies, and conditions, whether oral, written, statutory, express, or implied. Visual Land disclaims all statutory and implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Where such warranties cannot be disclaimed, Visual Land limits their duration and remedies to this express warranty and, at its option, repair or replacement services.

What is Covered by This Warranty?: Visual Land warrants the Visual Land-branded hardware product and accessories (the "Visual Land Product") against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the original retail purchase date, when used normally according to Visual Land's published guidelines. These guidelines include information in technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications.

What is Not Covered by This Warranty?: This warranty does not cover non-Visual Land branded hardware, software, or accessories. Other manufacturers may provide their own warranties. Visual Land does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not responsible for damage from failure to follow instructions. It does not apply to: consumable parts (like batteries), cosmetic damage, damage from use with other products, damage from accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake, or external causes; damage from operating outside published guidelines; damage from service performed by non-Visual Land representatives; modified products; normal wear and tear or aging; or products with removed/defaced serial numbers.

Your Responsibilities: Periodically back up data stored on the Visual Land Product. Before warranty service, you may need to provide proof of purchase, answer diagnostic questions, and follow Visual Land's procedures. Back up data, remove personal information, and disable passwords before service. Note: During warranty service, storage media contents will be deleted and reformatted. Visual Land is not responsible for any loss of software, data, or other information.

What Will Visual Land Do in the Event the Warranty is Breached?: If a valid claim is submitted during the Warranty Period, Visual Land will, at its option, repair the Visual Land Product using new or equivalent used parts, or replace it with a functionally equivalent tablet.

How to Obtain Warranty Service?: Review online help resources at www.visual-land.com before seeking service. If the product is still not functioning properly, contact a Visual Land representative. When contacting by phone, charges may apply based on your location.

Visual Land will provide mail-in warranty service, including shipping instructions. Shipment to Visual Land is at your expense; return shipment is at Visual Land's expense. Service options and response times may vary.

Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Visual Land is not responsible for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty or condition, including loss of use, revenue, profits, data, or goodwill, or any indirect or consequential loss or damage. This limitation does not apply to death or personal injury claims or statutory liability for intentional/grossly negligent acts. Visual Land does not guarantee repair or replacement without risk of data loss.

This device was tested for typical body-worn operations with the back of the device kept 0mm from the body. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that maintain a 0 mm separation distance between the user's body and the back of the device. The use of belt clips, holsters, and similar accessories should not contain metallic components in their assembly. The use of accessories that do not satisfy these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure requirements and should be avoided.
