Limited Warranty
This document outlines the limited one (1) year warranty for Visual Land tablets. It details consumer rights, warranty limitations, what is covered and not covered, user responsibilities, and how to obtain warranty service.
Warranty Coverage
Visual Land warrants its branded hardware products and accessories against defects in materials and workmanship for one (1) year from the original retail purchase date when used normally according to Visual Land's published guidelines.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover non-Visual Land branded products, software, consumable parts (like batteries), cosmetic damage, damage from misuse, accidents, liquid contact, fire, or external causes. It also excludes damage from operating the product outside guidelines, unauthorized service, normal wear and tear, or if the serial number is removed or defaced.
User Responsibilities
Users are advised to periodically back up data and remove personal information before seeking warranty service. Visual Land is not responsible for data loss during service, as the storage media will be deleted and reformatted.
Obtaining Warranty Service
For warranty service, users can visit www.visual-land.com for online help resources. If issues persist, contact Visual Land support via Live Chat, the contact form on their website, email at VL_Support@visual-land.com, or by phone at (562) 860-2669, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST). Service is typically mail-in, with shipping to Visual Land at the customer's expense and return shipping covered by Visual Land.
Limitation of Liability
Visual Land disclaims responsibility for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from any warranty breach, including loss of use, revenue, profits, data, or goodwill. This limitation does not apply to death or personal injury claims or statutory liability for intentional and gross negligent acts.
Quick Start Guide
Charging Your Tablet
To charge the tablet, connect the included charging cable to the tablet's charging port and a power outlet. Ensure the connector inserts easily to avoid damage. A charging icon will appear on the screen when charging. It is recommended to charge the tablet for two hours before initial use. For safety, disconnect the tablet once fully charged and avoid charging overnight. Ensure the tablet is in a well-ventilated area while charging. Use only Visual Land chargers for safety and compatibility.

Google Kids Space™ Setup
- When prompted, select "A child" to set up the tablet for a child.
- Sign in with your child's Google™ account or create a new one.
- Select "Set Up" for Google Kids Space.
- Follow prompts for Parental Consent & Family Link™ to set screen time, approve apps, and add filters.
- Customize options by selecting "Skip", "Next", or "No thanks" as preferred.
- Have your child select at least three interests when prompted, then select "Next" and "Push".
Note: If the tablet was initially set up for an adult, Google Kids Space™ can be accessed via the Kids Space app.
Setup Wizard
- Power on the tablet by long-pressing the power button.
- Select your preferred language (e.g., "English (United States)") and tap "Start".
- Connect to Wi-Fi by selecting your network and entering the password if required. Alternatively, select "Setup up offline" to continue without internet.
- If connected to Wi-Fi, choose to "Copy apps & data" or "Don't copy".
- Select whether the device is for "An adult or a teen" or "A child". If for an adult, log in or create a Google™ account.
- Review and "Accept" Google™ Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
- Set a screen lock (PIN, Pattern, or Password) for security. Remember this information.
- Complete additional customization options as desired.
- The home screen will load upon completion of the Setup Wizard.
Troubleshooting and Resources
- Soft Reset: Insert a pin into the reset hole to restart the tablet. Note: Do not insert objects into the charging indicator light hole on the 10QH+ model.
- Factory Reset: Go to Settings > System > Advanced > Reset options > Erase all data (factory reset). This will erase all data; back up important files first.
- Customer Support: If problems persist after a factory reset, contact customer support via email at VL_Support@visual-land.com.
- Warranty: Refer to the "Limited Warranty" section or visit www.visual-land.com for full warranty terms.
FCC Compliance Statement
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: no harmful interference, and acceptance of received interference. The equipment has been tested and found to comply with limits for a Class B digital device, providing reasonable protection against harmful interference in residential installations.
If interference occurs, users are encouraged to take measures such as reorienting the antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, connecting to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer or technician.
Unauthorized modifications by Visual Land could void FCC compliance and the user's authority to operate the product. Using compliant peripheral devices and shielded cables is recommended to reduce interference.
SAR WARNING
This tablet has been tested against the FCC SAR limit of 1.6 W/kg averaged over one gram of tissue. To maintain compliance with FCC RF exposure requirements, use accessories that keep the back of the device 0mm from the body. Avoid accessories with metallic components. Accessories that do not meet these requirements may not comply with FCC RF exposure regulations.
