What is integrated into YOUVI?

The YOUVI-Bridge to SolarEdge allows you to view core parameters of the SolarEdge platform within your visualization.

The energy monitoring widget for SolarEdge integrates the following variables:

• Power fed into the grid
• Power taken from the grid
• Self-supplied power (e.g., via photovoltaics)
• Vehicle, current charging process
• House battery, fed-in/taken-out power
• House battery, charging status
• Total consumption
• Self-sufficiency

Installation

To install the SolarEdge integration:

1. Open YOUVI Configuration on the Dashboard page. Right-click the house icon in the taskbar and select "Open YOUVI Dashboard".
2. If the house icon is not visible, use the YOUVI desktop link labeled "PEAKnx System Configuration".
3. Select the "SolarEdge" house icon to begin the installation. Confirm any prompts.
4. Under "More" > "Licence", you can view the remaining days of your trial license. For unlimited use, purchase the add-on from the PEAKnx Shop.
5. Return to the Dashboard page and select the SolarEdge house icon to open it.

Preparation

Follow these steps to prepare for device import:

• Select the "Connect" button. A window will open.
• Enter your API Key and Location ID.
• Once the connection is successfully established, the status will show "Connected".

Device Import

Import your SolarEdge devices:

• Select the "Discover devices" button.
• A window will appear showing the detected energy management system.
• Select the element to set further parameters.
• Assign a name for the widget, select the appropriate room, and an alternative icon if needed.
• Under "Group addresses", you can add desired group addresses if you wish to send SolarEdge values via the KNX bus.
• Select the "Create devices" button.

Widget Integration to Dashboard

Add the created widget to your dashboard:

• The widget is created in the previously selected room within the visualization.
• Open the visualization and enable "Edit Mode".
• Select the Dashboard icon to add the widget to your dashboard.

The widget visualizes SolarEdge energy management variables in an animated graphic, showing data such as consumption, production, charging status, and self-sufficiency.

Integration of Further Sensors

You can display up to 5 additional sensors in the lower part of the widget.

• To do this, switch to the visualization's "Edit Mode" and click the gearwheel icon (⚙️) on the tile.
• Select the wrench icon (?) to choose your sensors.
• Confirm your selection by clicking the checkmark icon (✔️) at the bottom right.
