General Power Tool Safety Warnings

WARNING! Read all safety warnings, instructions, illustrations and specifications provided with this power tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term "power tool" in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Dress Properly – Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in moving parts. Use of rubber gloves and proper footwear is recommended when working outdoors. Secure long hair to prevent contact with moving parts.
  • Use Safety Glasses.
  • Wear Appropriate Personal Hearing Protection During Use – Under some conditions and duration of use, noise from this product may contribute to hearing loss.
  • Do not use product for any job except that for which it is intended.
  • Check for damaged parts before use of product. If a part is damaged it should be repaired or replaced. Please call our customer service help line for assistance.
  • Lighting – Only operate blower in daylight.
  • Don't overreach – Keep proper footing and balance at all times.
  • Avoid Dangerous Environments – Don't use blower in rain, damp or wet locations. Do not operate blower near gasoline or explosive materials. Motors in these tools normally spark, and the sparks might ignite.
  • Stay Alert when operating the blower.
  • When not in use, products should be stored indoors in dry conditions.
  • Maintain Blower Properly - Keep clean for best performance.

Blower Safety Warnings

  • This blower is intended for consumer use only. Commercial use of this product is prohibited and will void the manufacturer's warranty.
  • Prevent unintentional use. Ensure the throttle trigger is released and variable speed control is in the off position before connecting to battery pack, picking up or carrying the product.
  • Disconnect the battery pack from the product before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing product. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the product accidentally.
  • When operating the unit, never point the blower nozzle in the direction of people or pets or in the direction of windows. Use extra caution when blowing debris near solid objects, such as trees, automobiles, and walls.
  • Secure the unit properly when transporting it.
  • Never douse or squirt the unit with water or any other liquid. Clean the unit after each use as described in the cleaning and storage section.
  • Carefully inspect the blower prior to use and follow all label and marking instructions.
  • Do not use the blower with any obstructions in the openings.
  • Service on the blower must be performed by Authorized Service Centers.

Battery Pack and Battery Charger Safety Warnings

  • Only charge SENIX Batteries with the appropriate SENIX Charger. The use of any other charger may create a fire risk.
  • Use SENIX products with the appropriate battery pack. The use of any other battery packs may create a fire risk.

WARNING! Only use following batteries: B20X2/B25X2/ B40X2/B50X2/B60X2/B80X2 and chargers: CHX2-L/CHX2/CHQX2/CHQX2-M/CHDX2-M.

  • When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another.
  • Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
  • Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, seek medical help.
  • Do not use a battery pack or product that is damaged or modified. Damaged or modified batteries may result in fire, explosion or risk of injury.
  • Do not expose a battery pack or product to fire or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 212°F (100°C) may cause explosion.
  • Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or product outside of the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside of the specified range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fire.
  • Do not modify or attempt to repair the battery pack.

Even if you are operating this product in accordance with all the safety requirements, potential risks of injury and damage remain.

WARNING! This product produces an electromagnetic field during operation. This field may under some circumstances interfere with active or passive medical implants! To reduce the risk of serious or fatal injury, please consult with doctor before operating this product!

Assembly

  1. Unpack all parts and lay them on a flat surface.
  2. Remove all packing materials and shipping devices, if applicable.
  3. Included in the box:
    • (1) Cordless Leaf Blower
    • (2) 4.0 Ah Battery
    • (1) 20V Dual Port Charger
    • (3) Instruction Manual
  4. If you find that parts are missing or damaged, do not use the product and contact the dealer.
  5. Ensure that you have all the accessories and tools needed for assembly and operation.

WARNING! Wear protective gloves for assembly work and always lay the product on a flat and stable surface while assembling. Follow the assembly instructions step-by-step and use the pictures provided as a visual guide to easily assemble the product. Do not insert the battery pack before the blower is completely assembled.

Installing/Removing the Blower Tube

WARNING! To avoid serious personal injury and damage to the blower, shut the blower off before removing or installing an attachment.

WARNING! Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer's recommended attachments.

  1. Diagram illustrating the installation of the blower tube: Align the groove on the tube with the notch on the blower housing and push the tube onto the blower housing until the latch snaps into place.
  2. Diagram illustrating the removal of the blower tube: Press and hold the tube-release button to disengage the latch, then pull the tube away from the blower.

Installing/Removing the Blower Nozzle

  1. Diagram illustrating the installation of the blower nozzle: Align the groove on the blower nozzle with the notch on the tube. Push the nozzle onto the tube until it snaps into place.
  2. Diagram illustrating the removal of the blower nozzle: Press and hold the nozzle-release button to disengage the latch, then pull the nozzle away from the blower tube.

Installing/Removing Battery Pack

WARNING! Always remove the battery pack from the product when you are assembling parts, making adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use.

Operation

Switching On/Off

NOTE: Before use, turn the cruise control dial counterclockwise to the off position.

Variable Speed Trigger

  1. Press the air-speed trigger to turn on the blower.
  2. The air speed of the blower is controlled with the variable speed trigger. More pressure on the trigger results in higher air speed; less pressure on the trigger results in lower air speed.
  3. Release the air-speed trigger to turn off the blower.

Cruise Control Dial Function

The blower can be locked at any speed with the cruise control dial.

  1. Turn the cruise control dial clockwise to start the blower. The air speed will increase as the dial is rotated clockwise.
  2. To decrease the air speed, turn the cruise control dial counterclockwise.
  3. Keep turning the cruise control dial counterclockwise to the off position to stop the blower.

NOTE: If the cruise control dial is not turned back to the off position before the battery is removed, the blower will not start when a fully charged battery is installed. This is a protection feature to help prevent accidental startup. Turn the cruise control dial counterclockwise to the off position to deactivate the protection. Then press the air-speed trigger to power the blower.

NOTE: Press and hold the turbo boost button while working to increase the air speed to the maximum level. The blower will resume the previous speed when the turbo boost button is released.

General

  1. Always hold the product by its handle. Keep the blower dry and clean.
  2. Ensure that the air vents are always unobstructed and clear. Blocked air vents may lead to overheating and damage the product.
  3. Before operating the blower, make sure to check each function is working properly.
  4. While operating the blower, it is crucial to avoid contact with any objects, as this may lead to damage.

WARNING! Always wear eye, respiratory, hearing, hand, foot, and body protection to reduce the risk of injury when operating the blower.

Blowing

  1. When operating the blower, hold the tube approximately 4 inch (10cm) above the ground and walk slowly forward using a sweeping motion from side to side.

Maintenance

WARNING! Always switch the blower off, remove the battery pack, and let the blower cool down before performing cleaning and maintenance work! Only perform cleaning and maintenance work according to these instructions! Any additional maintenance or repairs must be performed by an Authorized Service Center.

Cleaning

  • Clean the debris from the blower tube with a soft cloth.
  • Clean the intake vents from debris to prevent any damage.
  • Do not use strong detergents. Household cleaners that contain aromatic oils such as pine and lemon, can damage plastic.
  • Clean any additional debris with a soft cloth. The tool should never come in contact with water.

Transportation

  • Always carry the product by its handle.
  • Secure the blower properly when transporting.

Storage

  • Store the blower and its accessories in a dry, well-ventilated place.

NOTE: To prolong battery life, never store battery pack in a completely discharged condition. Make sure the battery pack is charged every six months.

Disposal

When the blower is no longer usable, do not dispose of it with household waste. It must be recycled at a proper facility.

Electrical products should not be discarded with household products. Used electrical products must be collected separately and disposed of at collection points provided for this purpose. Talk with local authorities or dealer for advice on recycling.

Troubleshooting

Suspected malfunctions are often due to causes that the users can fix themselves. Therefore, check the blower using this section. In most cases the problem can be solved quickly.
