Philips H7-LED Adapter Ring P/E Installation

Overview

This document provides installation instructions for the Philips H7-LED Adapter Rings, types P and E, designed for specific vehicle applications.

Safety Precautions

Before proceeding with the installation, please observe the following safety warnings:

⚠️ General Warning: Follow all instructions carefully.
[eye protection] Eye Protection: Always wear appropriate eye protection during installation.
[heat warning] Hot Components: Be aware of potential hot surfaces or components. Allow parts to cool before handling if necessary.
Vehicle Power: Ensure the vehicle's ignition is OFF and the key is removed before starting any work.
[protective gloves] Gloves: It is recommended to wear protective gloves to prevent injury or contamination.
[two people] Assistance: Some steps may be easier or safer with assistance from another person.

Installation Steps

Follow these steps for proper installation. Note that Option 1 and Option 2 refer to different adapter ring types (P or E) or vehicle specific fittings.

Step 1: Power Off. Ensure the vehicle's ignition is completely OFF and the key is removed from the ignition switch.
Step 2: Prepare Adapter. Rotate the mechanism of the adapter ring as shown in the diagram.
Step 3: Connect LED Wiring. Connect the wiring harness to the LED bulb and rotate the LED bulb itself.
Step 4: Connect Plug. Connect the power plug to the LED bulb assembly.
Step 5: Secure LED to Adapter. Insert the LED bulb into the adapter ring and rotate it to secure it in place.
Step 6: Insert Assembly. Insert the assembled LED bulb and adapter ring upwards into the designated housing.
Step 7: Assembly Complete. The LED bulb and adapter ring are now securely connected.
Step 8: Option 1 - Place Adapters. For Option 1 installations, place the adapter rings into the headlight housing.
Step 9: Option 1 - Connect LED. For Option 1, connect the LED bulb assembly to the adapter ring.
Step 10: Option 2 - Connect LED. For Option 2, connect the LED bulb assembly to the adapter ring.
Step 11: Option 2 - Place Assembly. For Option 2, place the assembled LED and adapter into the headlight housing.
Step 12: Connect Vehicle Power. Connect the vehicle's original power plug to the LED assembly.
Step 13: Final Connection. Ensure all electrical connections are properly made.
Step 14: Power On & Final Checks. Turn the vehicle's ignition ON. Perform final checks as indicated.
Step 15: Verify Functionality. Check that the LED lights function correctly. Confirm successful installation. ?
