Safety Information

About Photosensitive Seizures

A small percentage of individuals may experience seizures when exposed to flashing lights or patterns in video games. This can occur even in people with no prior history of seizures. Symptoms may include lightheadedness, altered vision, twitching, disorientation, confusion, or momentary loss of awareness. Seizures can lead to injury from falls or striking objects. It is advised to stop playing immediately and consult a doctor if any symptoms occur. Parents should monitor children and teenagers, as they are more susceptible. Reducing risk involves sitting farther from the screen, using a smaller screen, playing in a well-lit room, and avoiding play when drowsy or fatigued. Consult a doctor before playing if you or a relative has a history of seizures or epilepsy.

Avoid Damage to Your Television

Certain televisions, particularly front- or rear-projection types, may be damaged by video games. Static images can cause screen burn-in, leaving a permanent shadow. This can also happen when pausing the game. Consult your television owner's manual or manufacturer to ensure safe play. Playing video games is not recommended on certain television sets.

Unauthorized copying, reverse engineering, transmission, public performance, rental, pay-for-play, or circumvention of copy protection is strictly prohibited.

Introducing Fuzion Frenzy

Fuzion Frenzy is an action game set in a fantastic, futuristic city where players compete to be the best at outbashing, outracing, and outmaneuvering each other.

Tournament Structure

In each of the city's zones, players compete in three minigames before the Fuzion Frenzy Round. This round offers a chance to catch up or extend a lead. Players can choose to play in two, four, or six stages.

Playing Fuzion Frenzy

Players can choose to play individual minigames or a full tournament. Select 'Tournament' for the complete experience or 'Minigame Frenzy' to play a specific minigame.

Minigames are themed according to their zone (e.g., Jet Boat games are in the Waterfront zone). The tournament length is adjustable, controlling the number of zones played. The game maps the player's path through the city, showing progress.

Gameplay Mechanics

Team Play

Some minigames feature a randomly activated team play option. In team play, two teams compete, and players on the winning team earn an equal number of orbs.

Fuzion Frenzy Round

This round occurs after three minigames. The goal is to grab white orbs or orbs of your color and deliver them to the goal to score points. The player with the most orbs delivered wins. Be cautious, as other players can steal your orbs. Players cannot grab orbs of the same color as another character. Attacking a player three times quickly allows you to steal their orb.

Orbs used in the Fuzion Frenzy Round are those won in the minigames. Players can deposit these orbs to convert them into points, but they risk losing them if they choose to play with them. Deposited orbs cannot be lost or stolen, while orbs in play offer higher scoring potential but are vulnerable. Up to four orbs can be carried at a time, but all are lost if stolen.

Arena Elements and Power-ups

The arena may feature a large bright orb for extra points, surrounded by hazards. A large button in the arena can be pressed for potential advantages. Power-ups appear randomly and include:

  • Lightning Bolt: Speeds up your vehicle or character for a few seconds.
  • Hammer: Provides a special weapon. In the Fuzion Frenzy Round, it squashes opponents. In other games, it might allow a tank to shoot three shells at once.
  • Shield: Protects from damage for a few seconds.
  • Question Mark: Contains a randomly selected power-up.

Small white orbs are worth the least points.

Starting and Practicing

Before each minigame, players can choose to 'Start' (to record their score) or 'Practice' (to play without scoring).

Main Options

Before starting a tournament or minigame frenzy, players can adjust settings:

  • Sound Volume: Adjust the volume of sound effects using the left thumbstick or directional pad.
  • Music Volume: Adjust the volume of the music using the left thumbstick or directional pad.
  • Vibration: Enable or disable controller vibration. Gameplay is unaffected by this setting.

To change features, move the left thumbstick or directional pad up/down to cycle through features, and left/right to change settings. Press the [A Button] to select a feature.

Game Features

  • Boosters: Vehicles in some minigames are equipped with boosters that provide a forward speed burst, requiring a short recharge time.
  • Leader Bar: Located at the top left of the screen, these bars indicate player scores, with longer bars signifying higher scores.
  • Timer: Some minigames end when time runs out, and the timer displays the remaining time.

Soundtrack and Music

Background music is arranged by soundtracks, each with multiple selections. Players can choose new soundtracks or play tracks from their created playlists. Music begins shortly after a new track is selected.
