Customizing Your EK7000 Pro
Video & Photo Settings
On the preview screen, press the down button or tap the tool icon in the bottom right corner to access the camera's settings screen. From there, you can freely configure video & photo and system settings.
1. Video Resolution
Options include: 4K 30fps/2.7K 30fps/1080P 60fps/1080P 30fps/720P 120fps/720P 60fps (Default: 1080P 60fps). Set the resolution before recording video. The camera can record video up to 4K 30fps.
Note: Shooting video at high resolutions and frame rates in warm environments will consume more power.
2. Image Stabilization
Options: Off/On (Default: Off). Image stabilization effectively corrects lens shake, providing smooth and clear footage. This feature is ideal for scenes involving activities like horseback riding, skating, or handheld shooting.
3. Loop Recording
Options: Off/1 min/3 min/5 min (Default: Off). This option allows you to set the video length before loop recording. For example, setting "Loop Recording" to "3 min" means the camera saves video files every 3 minutes. When memory is full, new video files overwrite old ones to ensure continuous recording.
4. Time-lapse Video
Options: 1 sec/3 sec/5 sec/10 sec/30 sec/1 min (Default: 5 sec). Time-lapse video creates a video from captured frames at set intervals. This option allows you to set how often the camera captures video frames.
Note: Time-lapse videos are captured without audio.
5. Date Stamp
Options: Off/Date/Date & Time (Default: Date & Time). The camera adds a watermark to videos or photos according to your settings.
Note: Date stamps are disabled when Time-lapse Video Mode or Image Stabilization is enabled.
6. Exposure
Options: -2.0, -1.7, -1.3, -1.0, -0.7, -0.3, 0.0, +0.3, +0.7, +1.0, +1.3, +1.7, +2.0 (Default: 0.0). The camera's default determines the appropriate exposure level based on the overall image. The exposure function allows you to select an area to prioritize. This setting is very useful when important areas in your shot are overexposed or underexposed. Changing this setting will immediately show the effect on the LCD display. Changing modes will revert the camera to adjust the overall scene exposure.
7. Photo Resolution
Options: 20MP/16MP/14MP/12MP/8MP/5MP/4MP (Default: 20MP). This camera can shoot photos up to 20MP. Higher resolutions provide more pixels for sharper, more detailed images, but also result in larger file sizes.
8. Burst Shooting
Options: Off/3 photos (Default: Off). Burst shooting allows you to take up to 3 photos per second, making it ideal for capturing fast-moving action.
9. Time-lapse Photos
Options: 2 sec/3 sec/5 sec/10 sec/20 sec/30 sec/60 sec (Default: 5 sec). Time-lapse photos capture continuous photos at set intervals and combine them into a video. This option allows you to specify the photo capture frequency. Use this mode to photograph any activity and select the best ones later.
10. Continuous Lapse
Options: Off/On (Default: Off). Enabling continuous lapse allows the camera to shoot a series of photos in Time-lapse Photo Mode. If disabled, the camera shoots a single photo.
Camera Settings
1. Effect
Options: Normal/Black & White/Sepia/Negative Film/Warm Color/Cool Color/Red/Green/Blue (Default: Normal). Select special effects for photos or videos to enhance their appeal with ideal special effects.
2. Field of View
Options: Ultra Wide/Wide/Medium/Narrow (Default: Ultra Wide). This field of view indicates how much of the scene your camera's lens can capture. A wide angle captures the most of the scene, while a narrow angle captures the least.
3. Diving Mode
Options: Off/On (Default: Off). Turning on Diving Mode can compensate for the lack of red light underwater. Diving Mode is designed for use in tropical and blue waters and is optimized for use between 10 and 80 feet.
4. Microphone
Options: Built-in/External (Default: Built-in). You can choose between the built-in microphone or an external microphone. If you use an external microphone for better sound quality, select the "External" option first. Then, connect a compatible external microphone to the camera's USB port.
5. Frequency
Options: 50Hz/60Hz/Auto (Default: Auto).
6. Language
Options: English/Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese/Italiano/Español/Português/Deutsch/Dutch/Français/Japanese. Select the system language for the camera's interface.
7. Date & Time
Set the date and time format to Month/Day/Year. You can set the camera's date and time manually or sync them with your smartphone using the AKASO Go app.
8. Operation Sound
Options: Shutter: Off/On, Operation Sound: Off/On, Volume: Off, 0, 1, 2, 3, Auto Sound: Off/On (Default: On). You can turn the shutter, startup, and beep sounds on or off.

9. 180° Rotation
Options: Off/On (Default: Off). This setting allows you to set the orientation of the video or image so that it does not flip upside down.
