TP-Link VIGI NVR Firmware Release Notes - Version 1.2.0

Version Information

New Features

  1. Added remote registration to support adding IPC to NVR over public networks.
  2. Added support for Network Isolation.
  3. Added Alarm Output Linkage to Trigger Action, Highlight Window to Normal Action, and Light Alarm & Audible Alarm to Channel Linkage in Event Settings.
  4. Added Alarm Output Linkage and PTZ Linkage in NVR Alarm Input Settings, integrated Light Alarm and Audible Alarm into Linkage Actions.
  5. Added support for configuring IPC's Image Scene, Alarm Input and Alarm Output in Device settings.
  6. Added support for Active Defense settings for IPC, including quick arming and disarming.
  7. Added support for TP-Link DDNS.
  8. Added support for OpenAPI.
  9. Added support for RTSP Server.
  10. Added support for initializing NVR from different subnets using the VIGI Config Tool.
  11. Added support for Time & Date Format setting.
  12. Added support for password recovery via bound TP-Link ID.
  13. Added an option to unbind the TP-Link ID when resetting the device via the Settings page.
  14. Added support for resolution setting via the web interface.
  15. Added support for entering a domain name when adding IPC via ONVIF protocol.
  16. Added support for checking whether the IPC is already managed by another NVR during the discovery.
  17. Added support for modifying the IP address of the added IPC.
  18. Added support for keeping IPC online when IP address changed via its MAC address in the same segment.
  19. Added support for LLDP.
  20. Added support for the NVR to be discovered via the ONVIF protocol.

Enhancements

  1. Optimized initialization process.
  2. Optimized Platform Access and Cloud Service.
  3. Optimized the event description text.
  4. Optimized video search and export functions.
  5. Improved streaming stability.
  6. Optimized the event truncation logic. The maximum duration for a single event is now 3 minutes.
  7. Optimized the local key encryption algorithm to SHA-256.
