VIGI NVR Firmware Release Notes

Version Information

Recommended VIGI VMS Version

  • VMS Local 1.8.70 or above
  • VMS Cloud 2.0.10 or above

Recommended VIGI APP Versions

  • iOS: 2.7.9 or above
  • Android: 2.7.16 or above

Minimum Supported Firmware Version for Upgrade

1.0.0 Build 230830 Rel.60150n.

Important: After upgrading to this version, downgrading is not possible.

New Features

  1. Added Alarm Output Linkage and PTZ Linkage in NVR Alarm Input Settings, integrated Light Alarm and Audible Alarm into Linkage Actions.
  2. Added support for configuring IPC's Image Scene, Alarm In and Alarm Out.
  3. Added supported SNMP.
  4. Added supported IPv6.
  5. Added support for LLDP.
  6. Added support for the NVR to be discovered via the ONVIF protocol.
  7. Added support for initializing NVR from different subnets using the VIGI Config Tool.
  8. Added an option to unbind the TP-Link ID when resetting the device via the Settings page.

Enhancements

  1. Improved streaming stability.
  2. Optimized the Face Search algorithm.
  3. Optimized video search and export functions.
  4. Optimized the local key encryption algorithm to SHA-256.
  5. Enhanced the system security.

Bug Fixes

  1. Fixed the issue where using the voice intercom feature could cause live preview failures.
  2. Fixed the issue where IPC connection to the cloud showed as offline after firmware upgrade.
  3. Fixed some minor bugs.
