[Phenomenon]

On non-English Windows OS, when you set Windows fonts with different names in English and other languages (e.g., "MS Gothic" and "MS ゴシック") in the [Text Manager] dialog box and export text to a CSV file, the font names in the CSV file are output as the English name (MS Gothic). As a result, the text cannot be imported because it is judged as an incorrect font name during import.

An error message indicating "The following errors were found. Import aborted. Row number: 2, Column number: 5. Invalid Windows font. (MS Gothic)"

[Temporary Countermeasure]

Replace the English font names in the exported CSV file with the font names of the language of the Windows OS where WindO/I-NV4 is running, and then import. The font names of the Windows OS language are the strings displayed in the [Font Name] text box in the [Font] dialog box ([Text Manager] dialog box > Click the [Change] button) of WindO/I-NV4.

A screenshot of the Font dialog box showing a list of fonts including MS UI Gothic, MS Gothic, MS Mincho, etc.

(Example) If you export "MS Gothic" on a Japanese Windows OS, "MS Gothic" will be output in the CSV file, so replace it with "MS ゴシック".

[Phenomenon]

Fonts other than True Type that were supported in WindO/I-NV2 cannot be used in WindO/I-NV4. As a result, when opening a project file from WindO/I-NV2 in WindO/I-NV4, fonts other than True Type are judged as invalid fonts, and they are converted to the default font set in the [Basic] tab of the [WindO/I-NV4 Options] dialog box.

[Temporary Countermeasure]

There is no temporary countermeasure. Please implement the permanent solution described in the "Solution Method" section.
