Description
General Description: The appliance comprises a hob, control panel, oven light, door, storage compartment, and fans.
Hob: Features burners with specific designations (AUX, SR, R, UR2 int., UR2 ext.) and recommended pan diameters.
Use
Preliminary Operations: Remove protective film and labels. Wash accessories before first use. Perform a first heating cycle at maximum temperature to burn off manufacturing residues, ensuring the room is aired.
First Heating: Set the oven for at least one hour at maximum temperature to burn off residues. Air the room and do not remain in the room during this process.
Using the Accessories: Racks and trays are inserted into side guides until they stop. Ensure safety locks face downwards and towards the back.
Using the Hob: Controls are on the front panel. Press and turn knobs anti-clockwise to ignite burners. If a burner doesn't light within 15 seconds, turn the knob to the off position and wait 60 seconds before trying again. Keep the knob pressed for a few seconds after ignition to heat the thermocouple. In case of accidental switching off, a safety device cuts off the gas supply.
Practical Tips for Using the Hob: Use pans with lids and of appropriate size for the burner to minimize gas consumption and ensure efficient heating.
Using the Storage Compartment: Located at the bottom, it can be used for storing cookware or metallic objects.
Using the Oven: Select function with the function knob and temperature with the temperature knob. Ensure the programmer clock shows the cooking duration symbol. Press and buttons simultaneously to reset the programmer clock.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning the Appliance:
- Cleaning the Surfaces: Clean regularly after use when cool. Use specific products without abrasives or chlorine-based acids. Pour product onto a damp cloth, wipe, rinse, and dry.
- Food Stains or Residues: Do not use steel sponges or sharp scrapers. Use non-abrasive products and wooden or plastic tools. Do not let sugary food residues set.
Cleaning the Hob:
- Cooking Hob Pan Support Grids: Remove and clean in lukewarm water with non-abrasive detergent. Dry thoroughly. Note that contact with heat may cause natural modifications to the enamel.
- Flame-Spreader Crown and Burner Caps: Remove, wash in hot water with non-abrasive detergent, dry completely, and replace correctly.
- Igniters and Thermocouples: Keep clean with a damp cloth. Remove dry residues with a wooden toothpick or needle.
- Knobs: Clean with a soft cloth dampened with lukewarm water, then dry. They can be removed by pulling them out. Do not use aggressive cleaning products.
Cleaning the Door:
- Cleaning the Door Glazing: Keep the glass clean. Wash with a damp sponge and neutral detergent for stubborn dirt.
- Removing the Door (Auxiliary Oven Only): Open door, insert pins into hinge holes, lift door at an angle, and remove. Reassemble by inserting hinges into slots.
- Removing the Internal Glass Panes: Open door, position retaining pins, pull glass panes upwards, and remove. Clean all panes and reinsert.
Cleaning the Oven Cavity: Clean regularly after cooling. Avoid food residue drying. Remove the door and rack/tray support frames for easier cleaning. If using specific cleaning products, run the oven at maximum temperature for 15-20 minutes to eliminate residue.
Drying: Cooking generates moisture, which is normal. After cooking, let the appliance cool, remove dirt, dry the interior, and leave the door open to dry completely.
Regenerating Self-Cleaning Panels (on some models only): This cycle uses heat to remove light grease residues. Clean the oven cavity first. Set a regeneration cycle with a fan-assisted function at maximum temperature for one hour. If panels are dirty, wash them with neutral liquid and rinse. Ensure panels are dry before reinserting.
Removing Self-Cleaning Panels and Rack/Tray Support Frames: Remove panels and frames for easier cleaning, especially after using the automatic cleaning cycle.
Pyrolytic Function (on some models only): An automatic high-temperature cleaning procedure. Before starting: clean the internal glass pane, remove food residues and accessories. For stubborn encrustations, use an oven cleaning product on the glass. Remove the temperature probe and rack/tray support frames. Close the door. The door lock engages automatically. At the end of the cycle, wait for the oven to cool, then collect residues with a damp cloth. Setting of programmed pyrolytic cycle allows setting a start time.
Deactivating the Door Lock Lever Manually: Perform with the appliance cold and switched off. Move the lever to the right until it stops, then gently release it.
Extraordinary Maintenance:
- Seal Maintenance Tips: Keep the seal soft and elastic. Clean with a non-abrasive sponge and lukewarm water.
- Replacing the Internal Light Bulb: Disconnect power, wear gloves. Use a tool to remove the bulb cover. Slide out and remove the bulb. Do not touch the halogen bulb directly. Replace with a 40W bulb of the same type. Refit the cover.
Installation
The appliance must be installed by a qualified technician according to regulations.
Gas Connection: Connect the appliance gas inlet to the pressure regulator (for Natural Gas) or test point adaptor (for Universal LPG). Ensure flexible hose assembly is certified, kept short, and not in contact with hot surfaces or sharp edges. Test for gas leaks using soapy water. Check burner flames are blue and stable.
Room Ventilation: The appliance must be installed in rooms with a permanent air supply and adequate airflow for gas burner combustion, as required by regulatory standard AS/NZS5601.
Adaptation to Different Types of Gas: Change burner nozzles and adjust minimum flame on gas cocks. Replace the gas setting label accordingly.
Replacing Nozzles: Remove pan supports, burner caps, and flame-spreader crowns. Replace nozzles with a 7-mm wrench according to the gas type. Replace burners in their housings.
Adjusting the Minimum Setting for LPG/Natural Gas: Tighten the screw located at the side of the cock spindle. Light the burner, turn to minimum, and adjust the screw until the correct minimum flame is achieved. Verify flame stability.
Lubricating the Gas Cocks: This should be performed by a specialized technician.
Positioning: Follow specific measurements for height, vertical combustible surface, and horizontal combustible surface below the hob. Refer to AS/NZS 5601 for protection of combustible surfaces. Ensure the supply connection point is accessible.
Appliance Overall Dimensions: Diagram showing key dimensions (A, B, C, D, H, I, L, L2).
Assembling the Upstand: Position and secure the upstand on the hob using screws.
Fastening to the Wall: Install anti-tip devices to prevent the appliance from tipping over. Screw the wall fastening plate to the appliance and then to the wall, ensuring correct alignment and secure fixing.
Electrical Connection: Check mains characteristics against the data plate. Connect to ground using an earth wire. The appliance can work in 220-240V modes using a three-core cable.
Fixed Connection: Fit the power line with an all-pole circuit breaker with sufficient contact separation distance.
Accessing the Terminal Board: Access the terminal board on the rear casing to connect the power supply cable.
Instructions for the Installer: If using a plug, ensure it is accessible. Do not bend or trap the power cable. Install according to diagrams. Do not force fittings. Check for gas leaks with soapy water. Test all burners. If the appliance does not work correctly, contact an Authorised Service Centre. Explain correct usage to the user after installation.
