This document provides instructions for the F&D T-388 2.1 Wireless Soundbar System. The system includes a main soundbar unit and a subwoofer. The soundbar is a tall, slender speaker, while the subwoofer is a larger rectangular unit designed for bass frequencies.
Safety Precautions
- Do not place the system in high temperatures or humid environments; keep it dry and handle with care to avoid damage.
- To avoid electric shock and other accidents, do not open the back panel cover for repair without professional guidance.
- In case fragments or liquids are accidentally sprinkled inside the cabinet, switch off the power immediately.
- For repairs, please seek F&D's professional maintenance services.
- Switch off the power and unplug from the power jack when the system is not in use.
- Keep the cabinet vent at least 20mm away from the wall, and ensure the air vent is not blocked.

Product Overview
Remote Control
The remote control features the following buttons:
- [Power Button]: Standby - Press to Power on/off.
- [Bass Volume Down/Up Button]: Press to decrease/increase BASS volume.
- [Master Volume Up Button]: Increase master volume.
- [Previous Song/Folder Button]: In Bluetooth/USB mode, short press to select the previous song; long press to select the previous folder.
- [Master Volume Down Button]: Decrease master volume.
- [Bluetooth Mode/Pairing Button]: In Bluetooth mode, short press to select Bluetooth mode; long press to enter pairing mode (indicator will flash quickly).
- [Movie Mode Button]: Short press to activate Movie mode (source icon blinks 4 times).
- [Mute Button]: Press to mute or unmute the sound.
- [Play/Pause Button]: In Bluetooth/USB mode, press to play or pause music.
- [Next Song/Folder Button]: In USB mode, short press to select the next song; long press to select the next folder.
- [AUX Mode Button]: Press to select AUX mode.
- [Source Button]: Press to switch among audio sources: Bluetooth, COAXIAL (COA), OPTICAL (OPT), AUX, USB.
- [Reset Button]: Short press to return to default settings.
- [TV Mode Button]: Short press to activate TV mode (source icon blinks once).
Unit Key Buttons

Panel Display
The front panel indicates the selected audio source (Bluetooth, Coaxial, Optical, AUX, USB) and features a Power on/off LED indicator.

The rear panel includes connections for Power Cable, USB Port, Optical Input, Coaxial Input, AUX Input, and connections for TV/TV BOX/DVD/BD devices.
Operation Guidance
Bluetooth Mode
Basic Requirements
- Bluetooth function must be activated on the Bluetooth device.
- The Bluetooth device must support Bluetooth A2DP.
- The Bluetooth device must be within 10 meters of the T-388.
Connection Steps
- Select the input source.
- Long press the [Bluetooth Button] on the unit or remote. The display will show "BT".
- You have 30 seconds to register your mobile device.
- Start the search on your mobile device.
- If the mobile device requires an access code, enter "0000".
- Once confirmed, the connection will be established automatically, indicated on the display.
Note: If the T-388 connects with multiple mobile devices within a short period, they will connect automatically after selecting Bluetooth mode and activating the device's Bluetooth function.
USB Mode
- Plug in a USB drive (supports up to 32GB).
- The card reader supports MP3/WMA dual formats.
- Play music using the remote control functions.
AUX Mode
- Short press the [AUX Mode Button] to switch the audio source to AUX.
- Connect the speaker to your audio source (e.g., TV, PC, Mobile phone) using the appropriate signal cable.
- Adjust the volume while playing music.
Optical Mode
- Short press the [Source Button] to switch the audio source to OPT (Optical).
- Connect the speaker to your audio source (e.g., TV, PC) using an OPT signal cable.
- Adjust the volume while playing music.
Coaxial Mode
- Short press the [Source Button] to switch the audio source to COA (Coaxial).
- Connect the speaker to your audio source (e.g., TV, PC) using a COAXIAL digital signal cable.
- Adjust the volume while playing music.
Wireless Connection Between Soundbar and Subwoofer
First Time Pairing
- Connect the subwoofer power cable to the wall power. The LED on top of the subwoofer will flash slowly, indicating it is waiting for pairing.
- Connect the soundbar power adapter to the wall power. The red LED on the soundbar will turn on.
- On the soundbar, short press the [Pairing Button] and then the [Power Button] for about 5 seconds. The soundbar will enter pairing mode.
- Wait approximately 1 minute. The soundbar and subwoofer will pair automatically. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing, and the LED on the subwoofer will turn solid.
- If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat steps (1) and (2).
Already Paired Connection
- Connect the subwoofer power cable to the wall power. The LED on top of the subwoofer will flash slowly, searching for the paired soundbar.
- Connect the soundbar power adapter to the wall power. The soundbar and subwoofer will pair automatically. A voice prompt will confirm successful pairing, and the LED on the subwoofer will turn solid.
- If pairing is unsuccessful after several minutes, disconnect the subwoofer's wall power and reconnect it. If automatic pairing continues to fail, follow the instructions for "First Time Pairing".

Troubleshooting
