Controls and Indicators
The speaker features several buttons and indicators for operation:

BASS/TREBLE Control:
- Rotate directly to adjust bass volume.
- Short press and then rotate to adjust the treble volume.

MIC VOL/ECHO Control:
- Rotate directly to adjust the microphone volume.
- Short press and then rotate to adjust the ECHO effect.

Power/ Source Button:
- Long press for 2 seconds to power on/off.
- Short press to switch audio source: Bluetooth mode ➔ AUX mode ➔ USB Mode.

Play/Pause/ Button:
- Short press to pause/play music.
- In AUX mode, short press mutes the speaker.
- When connected via Bluetooth, long press for 2 seconds to force disconnect and enter pairing mode.

Volume -/Previous Button:
- Short press to decrease volume.
- In Bluetooth and USB mode, long press to switch to the previous song.

Volume +/Next Button:
- Short press to increase volume.
- In Bluetooth and USB mode, long press to switch to the next song.

Indicator Light:
- Standby Indicator: Displays the current mode. Bluetooth/AUX/USB modes show an orange light. The light flashes when switching modes and stays solid orange upon successful connection to the audio source. When power is insufficient, the light turns red and flashes.
- Charging Indicator: A red light is solid when charging. A green light is solid when the battery is fully charged.

Operation Guide
Follow these steps to operate your F&D RW40 speaker:
(1) BASS/TREBLE Adjustment
Rotate the BASS/TREBLE knob directly to adjust the bass volume. Short press the knob and then rotate to adjust the treble volume.
(2) MIC VOL/ECHO Adjustment
Rotate the MIC VOL/ECHO knob directly to adjust the microphone volume. Short press the knob and then rotate to adjust the ECHO effect for the microphone.
(3) Power On/Off and Source Switching
Long press the Power/Source button for 2 seconds to turn the speaker on or off. Short press the button to cycle through the available audio sources: Bluetooth mode, AUX mode, and USB Mode.
(4) Playback Control
Use the Play/Pause/ button:
- Short press to pause or play music.
- In AUX mode, short press to mute the speaker.
- When the speaker is connected to a Bluetooth device, long press for 2 seconds to force disconnect the current Bluetooth connection and re-enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
(5) Volume and Track Navigation
- Short press the Volume -/Previous button to decrease the volume.
- In Bluetooth and USB mode, long press the Volume -/Previous button to switch to the previous song.
- Short press the Volume +/Next button to increase the volume.
- In Bluetooth and USB mode, long press the Volume +/Next button to switch to the next song.
(6) Indicator Light Status
- Standby Indicator: The indicator light shows the current mode. It is orange for Bluetooth, AUX, and USB modes. It flashes during mode switching and remains solid orange when the audio source is successfully connected. A red flashing light indicates low battery power.
- Charging Indicator: The light is solid red while charging and turns solid green when the battery is fully charged.
(7) AUX Mode
Connect your audio device to the speaker using the provided signal cable (3.5mm) and switch to AUX mode to play music.
(8) USB Mode
Insert a USB flash drive into the USB slot and switch to USB mode to play music files stored on the drive.
(9) Power Input
Plug the AC power cord into the Power Input port and connect it to a power outlet for charging or continuous power.
(10) Restore Factory Settings
Long press the "Reset" button (often indicated by a circular arrow icon ?) for 5 seconds to clear all Bluetooth pairing records and reset the volume and Bluetooth mode to their default settings.
(11) Bluetooth Mode Pairing
- Press the Power/Source button to select Bluetooth mode. The Standby indicator light will flash.
- On your mobile phone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, turn on Bluetooth and search for devices.
- Select "F&D RW40" from the list and click to pair.
- Upon successful pairing, the Standby indicator light will become solid, and a Bluetooth mode tone will sound.
- If a password is required, please enter "0000".
(12) TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Operating Instructions
This speaker supports TWS functionality, allowing you to combine up to two RW40 speakers for stereo sound.
- Ensure both speakers are turned on and Bluetooth is not connected to any other devices.
- On one of the speakers, double-click the Play/Pause/ button to enter TWS pairing state.
- If TWS connection is successful, a tone will sound. The host speaker's indicator will flash slowly, and the secondary speaker's indicator will be solid.
- Turn on your mobile phone's Bluetooth and search for "F&D RW40" to connect. After successful connection, both RW40 speakers' Standby indicator lights will be solid, ready for music playback.
- To disconnect TWS, double-click the same button used for pairing on either speaker.
(13) Auto Shutdown
The device will automatically enter standby/shutdown mode if there is no key operation or audio playback for more than 15 minutes, provided there is no active audio connection.
Troubleshooting
Speaker is silent, what should I do?
- Check if the battery has sufficient charge.
- Verify that the volume is not set to minimum and that the music is not paused (especially in AUX mode).
- Ensure your Bluetooth device is powered on and the connection to the speaker is successful and stable.
- If experiencing sound cut-offs in Bluetooth mode, move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device.
- For optimal performance in Bluetooth mode, adjust your Bluetooth device's volume to an appropriate level.
- If Bluetooth connection fails, try turning the speaker off and on again, then reconnect your Bluetooth device.

The warranty is effective only if the warranty card is completed and returned to the company within 14 days from the date of purchase. F&D guarantees free services for its products within the warranty period from the date of purchase from an Authorized Dealer.
Key Conditions:
- This warranty card and the original receipt must be presented when servicing is required. The warranty card is irreplaceable if lost.
- Repair services are provided for defects arising from normal usage for the following periods:
- Parts: 1 year
- Technical Service: 1 year
- Service and parts will be chargeable even within the warranty period under the following circumstances:
- Failure to present the warranty card and receipt, or if particulars are unclear or altered.
- The unit has been tampered with, altered by unauthorized technicians, or subjected to misuse, negligence, or accident. Damage during transit from the customer is not covered.
