TRETAKT Smart Plug

Introduction

The DIRIGERA hub can be used to control the TRETAKT smart plug via the IKEA Home smart app.

Getting Started with DIRIGERA Hub

Download the IKEA Home smart app and follow the on-screen instructions to add the smart plug to your IKEA Home smart system.

Pairing a Steering Device to Your Smart Plug

When the smart plug is sold together with a remote (in the same package), they are already paired. To add more smart plugs, repeat the following steps:

1. Make sure that your smart plug is plugged in, and the main power is turned on.
2. Hold the steering device close to the smart plug you want to add (no more than 5 cm away).
3. Press and hold the pairing button ? for at least 10 seconds. A red LED will steadily shine on the steering device. On your smart plug, a white light will begin to dim and flash once to indicate successful pairing.

Up to 10 smart plugs can be paired with 1 steering device. Pair them one at a time. If smart plugs are close to each other, disconnect already paired plugs from the wall outlet.

Operation

Turn On/Off Your Device

Press the On/Off button on the smart plug once to turn it on. Press it again to turn it off.

Using a Remote

Press the On button (|) to turn the smart plug on. Press the Off button (o) to turn the smart plug off.

Factory Reset

Push the reset button on top of the smart plug with a pointy object for at least 5 seconds until the LED starts pulsating.

Important Information

• The smart plug is for indoor use only.
• Can be used in temperatures from 0°C to 35°C.
• Do not leave the smart plug in direct sunlight or near any heat source, as it may overheat.
• Do not subject the smart plug to wet, moist, or excessively dusty environments, as this may cause damage.
• The range between the steering device and the receiver is measured in open air. Different building materials and unit placement can affect wireless connectivity range.

Warnings

• Do not connect devices one after another in sequence.
• Do not cover the device when in use.
• To disconnect power, pull the plug.
• Use only indoors in dry areas.
• Do not overload the product.
• Discard the product if damaged.
• For adult use only. This is not a toy and is not intended for use by children.

Care Instructions

To clean the smart plug, wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Notes and Servicing

Note! Never use abrasive cleaners or chemical solvents, as this can damage the product.
