Safety Instructions
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS – This manual contains important safety and operating instructions for the FM transmitter device (Model: KM29). Please read and understand all instructions before using this product. If damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions, the warranty does not apply.
- Read all instructions and cautionary markings before using this product.
- Do not expose to rain, moisture, or snow.
- Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Do not operate this car charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified service person.
- Do not disassemble this car charger; take it to a qualified service person when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock or fire.
- To reduce risk of electric shock, unplug this car charger before attempting any maintenance or cleaning. Turning off controls will not reduce this risk.
- To reduce risk of fire or electric shock, do not interconnect output terminations.
- Avoid long exposure to direct sunlight, which can damage the device. Exposing this product to open flames may cause it to explode.
- Do not use this product in strong magnetic fields. Use a dry, soft lint-free cloth to clean. Do not use any corrosive cleaner or oil to clean.
- CAUTION – For continued protection against risk of fire, replace only with the same type and ratings of fuse. The fuse rating is 32V DC / 5A.
- Always obey traffic laws and pay attention to the road. Do not attempt to use this device while driving, as some features are limited while the vehicle is in motion. Failure to pay full attention to the operation of your vehicle could result in death, serious injury, or property damage. You assume total responsibility and risk for using this device.

Bluetooth Mode Operation
- Plug the "KM29" into your car cigarette lighter. It will turn on automatically. The LED display will show FM frequency, car voltage, and more information.
- Turn on your car radio and tune it to an unoccupied FM frequency (usually between 88.1-107.9MHz, you might hear white noise). Press the CH button on the "KM29" to enter frequency mode, then press the play/pause button or rotate the dial to set the same frequency as your car radio.
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone and search for available Bluetooth devices. Select "KM29" and connect. Once successfully connected, the LCD display will show "Connected" and the device name.
- Open the music player or navigation on your phone. The device can transmit phone calls and stream music to your car stereo.
Play Music via microSD Card/USB Flash Drive
- Plug the "KM29" into your car cigarette lighter. It will turn on automatically. The LED display will show FM frequency, car voltage, and more information.
- Insert a microSD card or USB flash drive into the "KM29". It will automatically detect and play music in MP3/WMA/FLAC/WAV format.
NOTE: Please use only microSD cards or USB flash drives in FAT format up to 32GB. It only supports music in MP3/WMA/FLAC/WAV formats.
Aux Out
If the noise from FM streaming is unbearable (all frequencies are occupied or there is too much interference), it is recommended to use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the "KM29" to your car's Aux-in port. (Note: Not all vehicles have a 3.5mm audio port).

Aux-in
If your device does not support Bluetooth, you can use the audio cable to connect your device to the "KM29" AUX port. The audio is then streamed to the car stereo speakers through the FM radio.

Control Buttons
Play Music
- Play / Pause Music: Press the play/pause button.
- Adjust Volume: Rotate the dial.
- Previous / Next Track: Press the skip buttons.
- Switch Modes: Long press the Multifunctional Button to switch music playback between Bluetooth, microSD Card, or USB Flash Drive.
- EQ Mode: When playing through microSD, long press "M" to select one of the 5 EQ modes (Normal, Classical, POP, Rock, Jazz).
- Folder Selection / Play Mode Selection: On a microSD card or USB flash drive, press "M" to enter the folder selection/Play mode interface. Then use the skip buttons to select, and press the Multifunctional Button to enter. In the play mode interface, you can select repeat one, repeat all, random, repeat folder, and EQ modes (Rock, Jazz, Normal, Classic, Pop).
Make Hands-Free Calls
- Answer / End a call: Press the multifunctional button once.
- Reject a call: Press and hold the multifunctional button for 2 seconds.
- Redial a call: Press the multifunctional button twice.
- Adjust Volume: Rotate the dial.
Charge Your Device
The "KM29" is equipped with QC3.0 and 2.4A dual USB charging ports. You can charge two devices simultaneously.

Trouble Shooting
1. For Noise or Statics:
- a. Please check if the car audio deck and the FM transmitter are on the same station. If not, you need to readjust the FM frequency.
- b. If the audio still has too much noise or statics, please select another radio frequency, as the chosen frequency may be occupied by a radio station or have too much interference.
2. For Bluetooth connection issues (Cannot find the Bluetooth name of the FM Transmitter; Cannot connect to Bluetooth; Bluetooth disconnection during working):
- a. Please try to clear your Bluetooth pairing list on your phone. If there are too many Bluetooth records on your phone, it may cause that you cannot find the Bluetooth name of the FM Transmitter.
- b. Check the Bluetooth name of your phone. If your Bluetooth name is too long, it may affect the Bluetooth pairing with the FM Transmitter.
- c. Please try to restart the FM Transmitter device and reconnect the Bluetooth.
Important Notes
If you drive a Malibu car or some other cars that keep outputting power to the car's cigarette socket/outlet after the car's engine has been turned off, please be sure to unplug "KM29" from the car cigarette lighter after usage to prevent your car battery from being drained.
