Introduction

You get the most out of your car ride with a good radio. Tune in to your favorite radio station or immediately switch to AUX or Bluetooth. Hands-free calling is now convenient thanks to the built-in microphone in the Strex car radio. Phone almost empty? No problem. You can always charge the phone thanks to the USB port.

The illustrations in this manual have been created with care. However, some parts of the product may differ from the illustration shown in this manual. Strex is not obliged to adjust the part or the manual in such cases. This manual is intended for the end user of the product.

Installation and Connections

Operating Voltage: 12V DC

Frequency Range: FM 87.5~108.0MHz

Wiring Diagram Description:

The wiring plug and socket facilitate connections for audio output, power, and speakers. The wiring plug includes connections for Ground (Black), Memory Backup (Yellow), and Ignition Switch (Red). The wiring socket provides connections for audio outputs (Left Rear, Left Front, Right Front, Right Rear) and speaker connections (Left Front, Left Rear, Right Front, Right Rear) using specific wire colors (White, White/Black, Green, Green/Black, Grey, Grey/Black, Purple, Purple/Black). A Blue wire is designated for the Power Antenna. An Antenna Input Connector is also present.

Operation Manual

Location of Controls

The front panel features numerous controls for operation. A diagram illustrates these controls, numbered 1 through 20:

  • 1. Power ON/OFF
  • 2. Function Selector (radio/usb/sd/aux-in/bt) & End call
  • 3. Auto Seek Search Tuning (AMS)
  • 4. Band Button (FM1-FM2-FM3) & Answer call
  • 5./6. Track Skip/ Search Forward/ Backward, Manual Auto Search Radio
  • 7. Memory Station 1-6 for Radio and Play/pause Function for MP3/WMA
  • 8. Intro Function for MP3/WMA
  • 9. Repeat Function for MP3/WMA
  • 10. Random Function for MP3/WMA
  • 11. -10 Function for MP3/WMA
  • 12. +10 Function for MP3/WMA
  • 13. SD Card Slot
  • 14. Aux In Jack
  • 15. USB Port
  • 16. LCD Display
  • 17. Volume / Select Control
  • 18. Reset Button
  • 19. EQ Button
  • 20. CLK Button

Bluetooth Pairing: Search for Bluetooth devices on your phone. Pair to the device using the password "0000". Some phones automatically connect to the radio after searching.

Operating Instructions

  1. POWER ON/OFF: Short press to turn on, long press for three seconds to turn off.
  2. MODE--FUNCTION SELECTOR: Push this button repeatedly to cycle through modes: RADIO → USB → SD → AUX-IN → BT. In Bluetooth mode, a short press ends the call.
  3. AUTO SEEK SEARCH TUNING (AMS): In Radio Mode, short press to browse, long press to automatically save the station. In playback mode, this function selects the song.
  4. BAND BUTTON: In radio mode, cycle through bands (FM1-FM2-FM3) by pressing this key.
  5. 5./6. BUTTON: In MP3 player mode (usb/sd/mmc), skip tracks or search forward/backward. In radio mode, search for desired radio stations. Press during playback to go to the desired track.
  6. 1/ BUTTON: Memory stations 1-6 for radio. Controls playback from USB or SD/MMC devices. Press once to start playback, press again to pause, and press once more to resume.
  7. 2/INT BUTTON: When pressed, 'INT' is displayed, and the first few seconds of each track are played. Press again to stop the intro and listen to the full track.
  8. 3/RPT BUTTON: When pressed, 'RPT' is displayed, and the selected track will repeat continuously until the repeat mode is cancelled by pressing the 'RPT' button again.
  9. 4/RDM BUTTON: When pressed, 'RDM' is displayed, and tracks play in random order. Press the 'RDM' button again to cancel random mode.
  10. 5/-10 BUTTON: In playback mode, short press to go back 10 songs; long press to choose a folder.
  11. 6/+10 button: In playback mode, short press to skip forward 10 songs; long press to choose a folder.
  12. SD CARD SLOT: Insert SD/MMC card gently. Select SD with the mode selector. Music plays automatically. Supports MP3, WMA formats.
  13. AUX IN JACK: Connect your portable player using a 3.5mm cable. Audio will play through the car speaker.
  14. USB PORT: Use a USB cable (not included) to connect your portable MP3 player or phone.
  15. LCD DISPLAY: Shows current reception and function.
  16. VOLUME / SELECT CONTROL: Rotate the volume knob to adjust volume. Short press the Select button to cycle through functions: volume (knob) → select (press down) → Bass → Treble Balance → Fader → Loudness → EQ (flat-pop-classic-rock).
  17. RESET BUTTON: Restores factory defaults.
  18. EQ & LOUD BUTTON: Adjusts EQ (flat-pop-classic-rock) and Loudness (ON/OFF).
  19. CLK BUTTON: Electronic clock button. Long press for approximately 3 seconds to set the time.
