Safety Instructions

• Read and follow all safety instructions.
• Be cautious of static electricity during installation and use. Keep the product away from sharp objects or strong corrosive chemicals.
• When bending light strips, avoid bending LED components to prevent affecting product lifespan.
• Before attaching strips, remove nails, metal, or other conductive objects from the installation surface to prevent short circuits.
• Do not install near heat sources.
• Do not allow children to install unsupervised.
• Do not install near potentially hazardous sources (e.g., candles, liquid-filled containers).

Control Box Description

The control box is a rectangular device with three horizontal slots. Above the slots are icons: a power symbol (?), a circle (⚪), and a starburst (⭐). Labels indicate: 'Power', 'Color', and 'Music / Dimming'. The 'Govee' logo is below the slots. On the left is a DC power input port, and on the right are three Type-C ports.

• Power (?): Press to turn lights on/off.
• Color (?): Press to set strip color.
• Music/Dimming (?): Press to enter Music Mode. Press and hold to adjust brightness.
• Indicator Light (?):
  • Red: Not connected to network.
  • Blue: Successfully connected to network.
  • No light: Device is off or not functioning.

Device Installation

1. Preparation

• Open package and verify all contents.
• Turn on light strips to confirm they illuminate.

2. Installation Procedure

• Surface Prep: Wipe the installation area to ensure it is dry and clean.
• Attach Strips: Apply LED strips to the back of the TV. Press firmly and secure with included clips. (Diagram shows hand pressing strips onto TV back).
• Position Panels: Place light panels beside the TV, level with the screen and 50 cm from its edges. (Diagram shows TV with panels at 50cm distance).
• Camera Placement: Position the camera at the top center of the TV.
• Connect Cables: Connect the LED strip, panels, and camera cables to the control box's Type-C ports. Connect the DC power adapter to the control box. (Diagram shows connections: DC power to control box, three Type-C cables to control box from strip, panels, camera).
• Control Box Placement: Position the control box near the TV.
• Power On & App Connect: Turn on the kit and connect using the Govee Home app. (Diagram shows complete setup).

Pairing with Govee Home App

Requires a WiFi router supporting 2.4GHz (802.11 b/g/n). 5GHz is not supported.

1. Download the Govee Home app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
3. Open the app, tap "+" in the top right, and search for "H605A".
4. Tap the device icon and follow on-screen prompts to pair.

Camera Calibration

1. Mount the camera at the top center of the screen.
2. Apply stickers to the 7 calibration points on the screen. (Diagram shows TV screen with 7 marked points).
3. In the Govee Home app, navigate to the H605A settings and tap "Calibration". Follow in-app instructions.

Tips:

• Drag calibration points in the app to match the orange foam stickers.
• Red calibration points correspond to foam stickers. The image may appear distorted (fish-eye). Ensure points are selected correctly and do not overlap. (Diagram shows camera view with positioning points).

Voice Control

1. Open the app and tap the device icon for details.
2. Tap the settings icon (top right).
3. Select "Using Guidance" and follow prompts for voice control.

Troubleshooting

Light Strips Not Turning On

• Check all cable connections.
• Disconnect/reconnect power adapter and DC port. Strips should light up 10 seconds after power-on.
• Ensure strips are plugged into the LED port before powering on.
• If strips were disconnected, restart the power adapter after lights function correctly.

Calibration Failed

• Recalibrate the light strips.
• Ensure no strong external light affects the camera.
• Calibration points must be selected correctly; do not drag points to incorrect areas or allow lines to overlap/cross.
• Calibration requires a successful WiFi connection.

Stickers Not Adhering

• Wipe installation surface to be dry and clean.
• Press strips firmly during attachment.
• Reinforce with included clips or strong adhesive tape.

WiFi Connection Failed

• Do not skip WiFi setup steps. Ensure correct WiFi name/password.
• 5GHz WiFi is not supported. Connect to 2.4G band and restart router.
• Check WiFi stability with your smartphone.
• If incompatible with router, try connecting via smartphone hotspot.
