Safety Instructions

• Be mindful of static electricity during installation and use.
• Keep the product away from sharp objects or strong corrosive chemicals.
• When bending the LED strips during installation, avoid bending the LED components, as this may affect the product's lifespan.
• Before fixing the LED strips, remove any nails, metal objects, or other conductive items from the installation surface, as they can cause short circuits.
• Do not install LED strips near heat sources.
• Do not allow children to install the LED strips themselves.
• Do not install LED strips near potentially hazardous sources (e.g., candles, objects filled with liquid).

Thank you for choosing Govee RGBIC LED strips. These TV light bars provide an immersive visual experience. The camera located in the center of the TV or computer screen intelligently captures the displayed colors and automatically applies them to the lights, greatly enhancing your gaming or movie nights.

Control Unit

The control unit features the following:

• On/Off Button: Press to turn the device on or off.
• Color Button: Press to set the color.
• Music/Dimmer Button: Press to enter music mode. Long press to adjust brightness.
• Indicator Light:
  • A red light indicates the device is not connected to the network.
  • A blue light indicates the device is successfully connected to the network.
  • No light means the device is not powered on or may be damaged.

The camera also has an indicator light:

• A blue light indicates the camera is powered on.
• A dim light indicates the camera is not powered on or may be damaged.

Device Installation

Preparation Before Installation:

• Unpack the LED strips and check all items against the package list.
• Turn on the LED strips and check if they light up.

Installation Steps:

1. Clean the installation area to ensure it is dry and clean.
2. Attach the LED strips to the back of the TV. Press them firmly and secure them with the provided clips.

   Tip: When mounting on the back of the TV, ensure the LED strips are installed in a clockwise direction.

3. Place the camera at the top center of the TV.
4. Connect the light strip cable and the camera cable to the control unit (USB/TYPE-C/DC ports).
5. Ensure the control unit is placed in a suitable location near the TV.
6. Turn on the lights and try connecting them using the Govee Home application.

Pairing with the Govee Home App

What You Need:

• A Wi-Fi router supporting 2.4 GHz and 802.11 b/g/n bands. 5 GHz bands are not supported. Ensure your Wi-Fi is functioning correctly before connecting.
• A smartphone or tablet connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
• A smartphone or tablet running iOS 9.3 (or later) or Android 4.3 (or later).
• Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (for iOS devices) or Google Play (for Android devices).

Using the Govee Home App:

1. Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
2. Open the app, tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner, and search for "H6199".
3. Tap the device icon and follow the on-screen instructions to complete pairing.

Camera Calibration with Govee Home App

Place the camera in the center of the screen. Place the reflective films on the 7 calibration points on the screen.

Open the Govee Home app, navigate to the settings page, and tap "Calibration". Follow the instructions to start calibration.

Tips: Drag the seven calibration points to match the positions of the reflective films.

Camera Notes:

The image may be distorted due to the camera's fisheye lens. Ensure that the calibration points are selected correctly and that the calibration lines do not overlap or intersect each other.

Calibration can only be initiated if the LED strip is successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network.

Troubleshooting

1. Strips Not Lighting Up

   • Check all wired connections. Unplug and re-plug the power adapter and DC port to ensure the control unit is properly powered. The LED strips will light up 10 seconds after power-on.
   • Check the connection between the LED strip and the camera cables. The LED strips must be connected to the LED port, and the camera must be connected to the CAM port.
   • Ensure the LED strips are connected to the LED port before powering on.
   • If you disconnected the strip lights, restart the power adapter after the lights have been properly connected.

2. Calibration Failed

   • Recalibrate the LED strips.
   • Ensure there is no other strong light source affecting the camera.
   • Calibration points must be selected correctly. For example, the top calibration point of the TV cannot be dragged to the bottom. Calibration lines must not overlap or intersect.
   • Calibration can only start if the LED strip is successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network.

3. Included Adhesives Not Sticking Well

   • Wipe the installation surface to ensure it is dry and clean.
   • When attaching the LED strips, press them firmly.
   • Secure the LED strips with the provided clips or other strong adhesives.

4. Inability to Calibrate and Capture Images

   • Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable.

5. Wi-Fi Connection Lost

   • Do not skip the Wi-Fi connection step during setup. Ensure you have entered the correct Wi-Fi name and password according to the app instructions.
   • 5 GHz Wi-Fi is not supported. Connect the lights to the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band and restart your router.
   • Ensure your Wi-Fi connection is stable.
   • Strips may be incompatible with the Wi-Fi name or password. Modify the Wi-Fi name and password.
   • Strips may be incompatible with the router. Try connecting the LED strips to your smartphone's hotspot.
