Grandstream GWN700X Router Firmware Release Notes
Important Upgrading Note
- After upgrading to 1.0.11.6 and later, downgrading to 1.0.5.36 or prior will factory reset the device. Please back up all configuration before downgrading.
- GWN700x 1.0.5.35 or later firmware requires GWN Manager version to be at least 1.1.28.27 or newer.
- Downgrading from firmware 1.0.5.x or higher version to 1.0.3.x or lower version will cause the device to perform a factory reset automatically. All device configurations will be reset to factory default settings after downgrading.

New Feature Overview
Speed test: The interface shows a speed test in progress, displaying upload and download speeds, test server, service provider, and public IP.
ISP default configuration: Administrators can provision an ISP default configuration to the router using the provided GS configuration tool. After provisioning and performing a factory reset, the device will restore to the customized default configuration instead of the original factory default settings.

IGMP: Support IGMP proxy and IGMP snooping settings.
HostName Access: This allows local users to use a configured hostname to access the router web portal.
IP Routed Subnet: Configuration is available in LAN settings. Once enabled, clients will be allowed to access WAN without NAT.
