Pre-Installation Instructions

• This product will not increase the load capacity of your vehicle.
• Do not exceed the manufacturer's recommended weight limit.
• The installation process may require drilling; professional installation is recommended to ensure personal safety.
• All modifications must be installed by qualified personnel and in compliance with your local modification regulations.

Assembling the Air Spring

Note: The U-bolt (9) would be used for some non-fifth-wheel models.

Removing the Jounce Bumper

1. Step 1: Raise the vehicle and support it using safety stands so that the axle can be safely dropped away from the frame, allowing air spring assemblies to be positioned between the axle and frame.
2. Step 2: Unclip the ABS wire and use a flat head screwdriver to open the clip. Remove the clip, then install the Frame clamp (6) onto the ABS line.
3. Step 3: Loosen the clips from the frame where the brake cable harness is, then pop them off and remove them from the brake lines.
4. Step 4: Unbolt the bracket from the emergency brake cable in the center of the rear differential. Then install the R-clamp (5) onto the emergency brake cable.
5. Step 5: Unbolt and remove the jounce bumper from the frame.

Placing the Assembly on the Axle

1. Step 1: Wrap the Guide wire tool (26) onto the threads of the bolt (11) and let it pass through the bottom. Use washers (24, 26) and nut (25) for securing.
2. Step 2: Place the assembly onto the axle.

Installing the Upper Bracket

1. Step 1: Attach the Wire clamp (6) and U-bolts (9) to the frame with the Upper mounting bracket (1). Ensure the slot hole in the middle faces toward the inside of the truck.

Note: For some fifth-wheel models, it is necessary to drill a hole in the frame to align with the center hole on the front side of the upper bracket, and secure it with a bolt (17).

Installing the Lower Bracket

1. Step 1: Adjust the assembly so that the air spring is perpendicular to the bottom and top mounting brackets without twisting.
2. Step 2: Install the Lower mounting bracket (2) with the Lower block (3) to the frame, then tighten the nuts (10).

Installing the Air Lines

1. Step 1: Cut the air line appropriately and push the hose into the fitting. Pull back to ensure it is locked in place.
2. Step 2: Install the inflatable valve in a selected location, usually on the license plate at the rear of the vehicle.

Check Air Tightness

• Put some air into the air spring bag and then spray a soapy solution on all connections and valves, checking for any air bubbles.
